New Surplus: New surplus valves are valves that have never been in service, in factory new condition. All valves meet/exceed factory criteria prior to shipment.

All valves are tested beyond new valve API 598 requirements. This includes control, gate, safety valves, and actuators. Once the reconditioning is completed, every piece is tested again in a separate quality control protocol. This quality control series actually exceeds the testing done on new valves and actuators. Test results are available at no additional charge.

What do we mean when we say “better-than-new?” Just like a newly manufactured valve, our valves carry a one year warranty. However, unlike brand new valves, our “better-than-new” valves have been thoroughly tested and are available at a substantially reduced price and they are available now - not a week’s or even a month’s wait for a newly manufactured valve.

With our inventory and stock of hard-to-find valves, you can often avoid having to make costly alterations in your plant to accommodate a brand new valve.

1. Pre-inspection to determine the general condition of the valve

2. Match marking of major components for proper orientation of parts

3. Disassemble, blast, clean all parts to bare metal

4. Inspect all parts for damage or wear

5. Inspect valve stem for thread wear and pitting of stem packing area

6. Inspect valve stem nut (yoke bushing) for thread wear

7. Inspect valve disc (wedge) for cuts / wear

8. Inspect valve seats (seat rings) for cuts / wear

REPAIR-BY-EXCHANGE (RBE)No more short outage headaches while meeting equipment maintenance requirements. The Repair-By-Exchange process supplies a valve for the application needing service at a prorated value of a replacement. Industrial valve will pull the current valve out and install an exchange valve in its place, saving you countless hours of downtime usually associated with required maintenance. Our Repair-By-Exchange program has never failed to meet a time frame set by a customer.
