Actors
Name- Harry Radcliffe
Gender- Male
Age- 17
Character- Max Clark
Why- I have chosen Harry Radcliffe as I think he is suitable to
play the older looking character of Max Clark. I believe that
harry looks older than he is, which is important as my characters have been married and now is
divorced. Harry is also an attractive person with a bit of stubble, which is key as in most superhero
films the hero is stereotypically good looking. I pictured my hero to be tall and lean with a bit of
rugged facial hair, so he looked messy and stressed. I also thought the rugged/messy look would be
appropriate as he could have let himself go after the divorce. He keeps himself to himself which is a
good thing as I didn’t want my super hero to be an extravert, as I need him to be surprising and
suspicions. He also looks like and average person that is hiding the super power. Harry is currently
studying media, so this should be beneficial. (ADD PHOTO)
Name- Sophie mason
Gender- Female
Age- 17
Character- Alice
Why- Sophie is very pretty which is important as she is playing the hero’s lover. She looks much
older than her actual ages, which is needed because she is meant to look as if she’s been living long
enough to get married and divorced (like harry). I pictured Alice to have brown and blond hair
because I wanted her to appear as if she cares about her appearance (because of the divorce).
Sophie is a very opinionated and confident person and I the character Alice is also like that. She a
strong smart characters and this is relatable to Sophie mason. Sophie is well composed and the
vocabulary she uses makes her seem more adult.
Sophie is also studying media so this is beneficial.
Café costumers- Emma king, Olivia Cornwell, Aaron Cogdell, and William Matthews.
They could have looked any age so I thought it would be convent to use my friends and they can look
like they are just out in a café with their friend.
Costume-
Harry- wearing a hat, as if he is hiding he identity. Wearing a coat so he feels more reserved and
protects (also it will be in winter). A normal white tee and black trousers to emphasises he is a
normal/average person.
Alice- skinny jeans, blazer, scarf and maybe a coat.
Colours-
White = as It is simple
Browns= for the furniture
Reds= much like the style model hero films, red suggests danger but powerful at the same time.
Dark and light blue= business and safety related.
Props
What- bags (shopping bags, such as Sainsbury’s and Tesco plastic bags)
Why- I wanted to make Alice look busy, because she needs to look like she has something to do and
that she has moved on from their divorce. This is also done on purpose because I need the contrast
between the two characters to give a few suggestions as to why they aren’t together.
Location
Where- Tansy’s continental café in Ringwood
Why- using a quite café as it’s meant to look like a normal everyday place to meet. I wanted minimal
people in the café so it’s quite but still public.
