XC Skatepark XC is my first chosen location, it is a large indoor skatepark based in

Hemel Hempstead. The reason I have chosen this skatepark is because this is wear one of my actors, Tom Lynes will be performing his part in the music video on his bike. There is a large variety of different ramps where he will be able to fully reach his potential and perform his best tricks which will therefore look very impressive in the end product. Furthermore, the fact it is inside means I can video him at night time when they skatepark will be a lot less busy. I feel as if a night time setting will fit the general mood of the song a lot better.

London Central London is another chosen location of mine. Here is where

I want to film my other actor, Fearghal McGlinchey who will be lip syncing the song, Dirty Love by Wilkinson. As London is a city that never sleeps it is constantly busy and has a buzzing vibe which I feel will fit the up beat tempo of the song. The reason I have chosen to film at night is because of all the bright lights illuminating e.g Piccadilly circus which will really enhance the link between the dance styles song and its up beat tempo with the footage.

House

The third location of mine is Tom Lynes’ house. The reason behind this is that this is where I wish to start my music video and add narrative. The narrative idea I have is that Tom is having an argument with his girlfriend and I will get shots of this then to let out some stress and anger he takes his bike, puts it in the back of his car and takes it to the skatepark which is one of the other locations. The house will only be in the video for a short period of time however it is vital in providing a short amount of narrative behind the song and video.

Black room

The final location is the black room studio in school. The reason for using this room is that it enables me to get very professional studio shots of Fearghal lip syncing the song. Here I’ll be able to use LED lights at my preference which will give off an extremely good look and run along side the continuous dark/night time theme of the music video.
