Bahal is a sub-tehsil of district Bhiwani, on western fringe of Haryana

state – bordering Rajasthan. It is approachable from most of the cit-

ies / towns of Northern India by road. There are direct bus services

right up to the campus from Delhi, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Hissar and Sirsa.

The nearby railway stations are Loharu, Sadulpur and Bhiwani. The

BRCM College of Engineering & Technology was established in

1999 under the aegis of Balla Ram Hanuman Das Charitable Trust, a

philanthropic trust established in 1977. The institute is a fully residen-

About the Institute

Objective of the Workshop

To provide an exposure of mechanisms of material failures and a

platform for industry and academia for interaction on methods and

ways for improving industrial efficiency by mitigating failures.

Fundamentals of Metallurgical Failures

Theoretical aspects of wear and friction.

Paradigms of wear of metals, polymers, composites

Modeling and simulation of wear.

Development of wear resistant materials.
