Team Splash - Charles, Waka and Charile !!AS Media Studies coursework -Location images !!There are only 3 locations in our Thriller opening. !!The first and most used location is the inside of BMW 318i station wagon. This is where the main character picks up the second character, has the main conversation of the opening and the unknown object that is central to the whole opening is located in the boot of this car, by it being in the boot this adds to the mystery and darkness of the film. As the contents of the bag are hidden in a dark and desolate boot. The car will be driving around !

!!!!!Our second location is A run down alleyway in the central city of Auckland where the second main character comes out from. This alleyway is used because we want to represent the characters as rough and ruthless, appearing out of nowhere from unexpected places and alleyways have the stereotypes of places where thugs or dangerous people hang out as they have no where else to go.!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!Our Final location is an Industrial area that is surrounded by water. Our last location is North wharf also known as wynyard quarter we chose this location as we need a deep body of water but also the use of the wharf gives a much more isolated connotation, which needs to be achieved as the characters are seen to be committing a crime, the isolation of this setting also adds to the suspense of the film of wondering will they get caught and what exactly are they doing. The industrial look adds a darker setting and atmosphere but also by the object being dropped in to the depths of the ocean, the contents are sealed forever, therefore this is the ideal setting.
