In 1795 Lane Picon forms the boundary between the city and the garden. The Magdalena neighborhood has evolved from ancient Muslim suburb, by establishing religious centers like the Cathedral and the Convent of the Trinity.
In 1853 we find graphing in the Palace of Columns plane. The first buildings also appear in the apple of our plot
In 1894 demolishes the Convent of the Trinity and is generated instead the Plaza de la Trinidad, improving the articulation of the urban fabric.
In 1906 the opening of the Gran Vía de Colón and Gran Vía of the Catholic Kings, germ urban development experience the city throughout the twentieth century as seen in the plane.
Throughout the twentieth century orchard areas were occupied by buildings, due to population growth, leading to the framework that we see today.

The Cathedral of Granada, XVI century. It is Renaissance, but typically herreriano far the predominant in the rest of Spain. It consists of five ships and a semicircular ambulatory bordering the altar. The structure is based on a forest of Corinthian pilasters upon which rest vaults
Iglesia del Sagrario. In 1501, was consecrated as a Christian church ancient mosque. It was demolished in 1704, for its structural weakness, and in its place a new church was built. In 1722 the new church was built in neoclassical character.
The Plaza de Bib-Rambla is one of the most important social and commercial centers of Granada. In Andalusian era housed the souk. In Christianity, the square served as a meeting and celebration of festivities. In the surrounding streets of the city guilds were pooled.
The Plaza de la Trinidad with that used to be the cloister of the Trinitarians Footwear (1517f). It was abandoned by religious around 1836 and became the municipal tax office until 1889 was demolished. Instead, this square was built in Baroque style

In the nearest vicinity of the site are, mostly high apartment blocks, not too old, over three floors; except for older buildings, as the Marist College or School of Translation and Interpretation. With this we note a discrepancy between the different streets and heights, which does not help us much reference for the project that we develop.

Being the sun surrounded by high-rise buildings, damaging it enough shadows on winter project. You have to find the brightest guidance and capture all the heat possible.
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES We are, delimiting the plot, with a long wall that only brings negative aspects. It is full of graffiti and
severely limits the visual potential, not relating the floor
with pedestrian streets that surround it.
In my proposal would eliminate that
much by the right side, thereby increasing the direct transition to
the street, getting a continuous space. The rest of the
wall would replace it by vegetation, rather low also.
On the other hand, we
find buildings from great heights, which when cast shadows and integrate with the
future project are not very favorable.
Two of the major streets that limit
are streets with traffic, causing noise pollution. Th
e other two are pedestrian, something positive, but
quite narrow in relation to the height of buildings. In the other of these pedestrian streets found
the entrance to an underground parking badly situated as it is in the middle of the square and right next to a playground. I propose to make this a more sheltered parking
playground.
One positive aspect is the Marist College located in the adjacent
block, attracting young audiences much related to our project.
