About LRHIP About LRHIP

• Grant program – No Federal Aid Requirements

• Available to cities under 5,000 in population, counties with road and bridge departments, and highway districts.

• Matching funds are encouraged but not required.

• Four type of projects– Construction (including Federal-aid Match) – 75%

– Transportation Plans – 15%

– Signs – 10%

– Emergency

LRHIP InformationLRHIP Information• 1 year Construction Hiatus - pg 1

• LHJ MUST be assessing property or substitute tax – pg 1

• PDS or project extension due Sept. 30 – pg 2

• If any expenditure is $50,000 or more, the work must follow state procurement rules (Required by State Law) – pg 2

• Application back up information should be clear, follow page limits, and be organized to match application sheet.

• No spiral/permanent bound applications will be eligible.

• Original plus 12 copies MAILED or DELIVERD to LHTAC
