A LETTER FROM THE CEO

To better serve your banking needs, we have expanded our hours and set safety procedures for in branch visits.

We will be open 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, at our Ridgedale Office for drive thru transactions and by appointment only for in branch transactions.

To make an appointment for branch entry for transactions such as a loan, account opening, or to access your safe deposit box, call us at 973-947-1000 Option 2.

We continue to share your concerns during this unprecedented time in our history and assure you that Novartis Federal Credit Union continues to be vigilant for the safety and well-being of our members and employees. With that said, the following precautions will be required upon an in branch visit:

• Face coverings - if you do not have a face covering, we will provide one for you.

• Gloves - if you do not have gloves, we will provide a pair for you.

• 6 foot distance between members and employees.

PFM Quick StartGetting the most out of PFM does not require a lot of time. It takes just a few minutes to set up a few of the tools in PFM to gain a better view of your financial situation.

Dashboard1. Add accounts from other financial institutions. Your primary accounts

will automatically be added to the first time you use PFM.

2. When you add accounts, your transactions and balances will update accordingly.

3. Your transactions will categorize themselves with ‘tags’. To personalize these categories, select the transaction and edit the tag.

Spending Targets1. Navigate to the Budget tab to create Spending Targets

and begin tracking spending by category.

2. Click the ‘Add a new spending target’ button and follow the prompts to begin track your spending by category. Popular categories to track are groceries, dining out and household.

Cashflow1. Navigate to the Cashflow tab to see your projected day-to-day

cash flow.

2. Add Incomes & Bills like your paycheck, rent or utilities to more accurately forecast your cash flow.

Goals1. Follow the prompts in the Goals tab to create one or more

financial goals.

2. Select from the available savings and payoff goal types to begin tracking your progress towards your financial aspirations.

Our Goal: Your Financial Wellness Your Tool: Personal Financial Management (PFM)

Knowing cash flow, budgeting and setting financial goals are some of the most powerful

actions a consumer can take. It gives you a clearer picture of what money is coming in, what money is going out, and watching your goals reach the finish line. Our PFM tool allows you to do all of this. It is easy to use and very robust. You can pull in all of your accounts, credit cards, savings

and loans to manage all of your finances in one place. The calendar is only one great feature in PFM to help you build and maintain your financial wellness.

Your financial wellness is our TOP priority. Simply log into online banking to get started. Once in online banking, click on the Financial Planning tab.

AVOID CORONAVIRUS SCAMS: FTC Advice for Consumers❍ Don’t respond to texts, emails or calls about checks

from the government.

❍ Ignore online offers for vaccinations. There are no products proven to treat or prevent COVID-19 at this time.

❍ Be wary of ads for test kits. The FDA recently announced approval for one home test kit, which requires a doctor’s order. But most test kits being advertised have not been approved by the FDA, and aren’t necessarily accurate.

❍ Hang up on robocalls. Scammers are using illegal robo calls to pitch everything from low-priced health insurance to work-at-home schemes.

❍ Watch for emails claiming to be from the CDC or WHO. Use sites like coronavirus.gov and usa.gov/coronavirus to get the latest information. And don’t click on links from sources you don’t know.

❍ Do your homework when it comes to donations. Never donate in cash, by gift card, or by wiring money.
