The program was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Dr.Y.P.Singh, Medical superintendent, NAPS Hospital and Air Vice Marshal Sh.A.K.Singh and Dr.M.S.Butola, Principal, Medical Officer Western Air Command, HQ New Delhi .The Chief Gust appraised the participants about NPCIL and NAPS Function & safety of Nuclear Power Plants. He also highlighted the importance of such programs for Doctors and Pera medics and how these programs are important in preparedness for any Radiological/Nuclear Emergency.

Feed back was taken from the participants which was encouraging and satisfy. It was apart from their feed backs that the program was largely successful in meeting its intended objective. The program was very interactive and participants understood unambiguously modus operandi of a Nuclear Power Plant and its safety features and preparedness in likelihood of emergencies.
