Yacht rock (originally known as the West Coast Soul or adult-oriented rock) is a broad music style and aesthetic identified with soft rock. Yacht rock was one of the most commercially successful genres of its era, existing between the late 1970s and early 1980s. Drawing on sources such as smooth soul, smooth jazz, R&B, funk, and disco, common stylistic traits include high-quality production, clean vocals, and a focus on light, catchy melodies. Initially used pejoratively, its name was derived from its association with the popular Southern Californian leisure activity of sailing.

The Lonesome Losers cast and crew consists of some of the Twin Cities most talented, entertaining, hard working and professional musicians. With decades of collective experience and an endless index of influences, the Losers have the ability to bring spot-on renditions of some of the greatest songs of all time. The Losers can also add saxophone for an additional price.

If you are looking for something a little smaller, we offer a compact 3 piece acoustic show. We call it The Yachtable Mentions. It features all of the Yacht Rock hits mixed with an evening of requests and special guests invited to participate.

The Yachtable Mentions features Kalliah Jackson, Ben Willinski, and Corey Rae White. Two acoustic guitars, and three vocals with a small compact pa system and adequate lights if needed.
