Intakes

Applicants for Degree Programmes should hold either a UCE & UACE

certificate with at least two principle passes or Diploma from a recognized

institution for higher learning, or a pass in mature age examination.

Applicants for Diploma Programmes should hold either a UCE & UACE

certificate with one principle pass with two subsidiaries or certificate from a

recognized institution of higher learning.

International applicants must have qualifications that are for University entry

in their respective countries.

LivingStone International University is a private organization registered by the National

Council for Higher Education (NCHE) and located in Mbale along Mission Road, about

200 metres off Kumi Road.

We are away from the city’s potential distractions, on a beautiful hill in Mbale where our

students enjoy peace of mind as they focus on learning more than anything else.

Our approach combines modern education with a mix of Christian discipleship, scholarship,

mentorship, and cultural diversity. We not only equip our students with knowledge that they

will use in their future careers, but also mentor them to become better individuals and

contributors to the societies in which they live.

We strongly believe that youth are the foundation of our future. For this reason we make it

our personal mission to holistically prepare them on a daily basis for the career world.

The numbers of students in our classes generally do not exceed 30 so that every student has

the lecturer’s full attention. Students share a computer lab with a 2:1 ratio. Every student

receives a kindles or a laptop to access school books, as most of these are electronic. Also

students may enjoy reading their favorite books on their kindles in their free time.

And yes, there are many universities out there but ours is the only one that can be called

a “Personal University”.
