Shade variationShade variation is an inherent feature of Living porcelain and ceramic tiles. We recommend that tiles are loosely laid out and ‘blended’ prior to fixing to achieve the most pleasing distribution of shades. Differences between batches can be more marked, for this reason we recommend that you buy all the tiles at one time. No liability for shading issues can be accepted after installation.

Adhesives, grouts and sealingAlways use high quality adhesives and grouts following manufacturers’ recommendations for their use and suitability for the type of tile, the application and the substrate being tiled.

Large FormatsWe do not recommend the use of large format ceramic or porcelain tiles in a 50:50 brick bond pattern installation. The reason for this is that slight curvature in the tile may become noticeable and may not be deemed to be visually acceptable.

Photography Owing to variations in studio lighting and printing inks, the tile colours shown in the Original Style brochure and website may differ slightly from those of the actual tiles.

Before making your choice it is always advisable to ask your Original Style dealership to show you samples.

Limits of Liability Original Style Ltd. accepts no liability for the faulty installation of its tiles. Wir empfehlen die Fliesen vor dem Verlegen lose auszulegen und durch optimale Anordnung eine harmonische Farbgebung zu erzielen. Unterschiede in der Brandfarbe zwischen mehreren Chargen können stärker ausfallen. Wir empfehlen daher die benötigten Fliesen stets zusammen zu kaufen. Die Haftung für durch Farbabweichungen entstandene Probleme ist nach der Verlegung ausgeschlossen.

Kleber, Fugenmasse und ImprägnierungVerwenden Sie stets qualitativ hochwertigen Kleber und Fugenmasse. Befolgen Sie dabei die Herstelleranweisungen in Bezug auf deren Verwendung und Eignung für die jeweilige Fliesenart, dem Anwendungsgebiet und dem zu fliesenden Untergrund. Wie bei jeder polierten Oberfläche ist auch poliertes Feinsteinzeug anfällig für Fleckenbildung, wenn es nicht mit einer geeigneten Imprägnierung geschützt wird (z.B. LTP MPG Sealer). Wir empfehlen, alle unsere polierten Feinsteinzeugartikel mit einem geeigneten Produkt zu behandeln. Folgen Sie dabei stets den Anweisungen des Herstellers.

KleurnuancesUiteenlopende kleurnuances zijn een inherente eigenschap van porseleinen en keramische tegels van Tileworks. Voordat u gaat tegelzetten bevelen wij u aan om alle bestelde tegels eerst te mixen, waardoor er prachtige kleurschakeringen ontstaan. Wij raden u aan alle benodigde tegels in 1 keer te bestellen, omdat er verschillen kunnen zijn tussen de serie tegels onderling. Als de tegels eenmaal zijn gezet, kunnen wij niet aansprakelijk worden gehouden voor mogelijke ontevredenheid over de nuanceverschillen.

Installatie, lijmen, voegmiddelen en impregneermiddelenGebruik altijd lijm en voegmiddel van hoge kwaliteit en volg de richtlijnen van de producenten op inzake gebruik en geschiktheid voor het type tegel, het aanbrengen en de ondergrond die wordt betegeld. Net als voor alle andere gepolijste oppervlakken het geval is, kan gepolijst porselein vlekken gaan vertonen als het niet is behandeld met een hiervoor bestemd impregneermiddel. We raden aan dat al onze gepolijste porseleinen tegels worden behandeld met een hiervoor bestemd product. Volg altijd de aanwijzingen van de producent op.

*Voor alle afmetingen geldt een tolerantiewaarde van ± 2mm. Voeg openingen tussen tegels zijn niet meegerekend in de aangegeven hoeveelheden. Houd rekening met vijf procent snijverlies. Gebaseerd op voegnaden van 2-3mm.

Slijtageclassificatie voor geglazuurd porselein en keramiek, in overeenstemming met ISO 10545-7PEI 3 Vloeroppervlak op plaatsen waar men, met normale schoenen, vaker loopt met kleine hoeveelheden vuil en krassen. Geschikt voor huishoudelijke keukens, hallen en gangen.

Grote formatenWij adviseren tegen het gebruik van keramische of porseleinen tegels met een groot formaat in een halfsteensverband. De reden hiervoor is dat de lichte kromming in de tegel duidelijker zichtbaar kan zijn. Dit kan een minder visueel aanvaardbaar eindresultaat veroorzaken.

FotografieAls gevolg van variaties in studiobelichting en printinkten kunnen de in deze brochure afgebeelde kleuren enigszins afwijken van die van de daadwerkelijke tegels. We raden altijd aan dat u uw Original Style-leverancier vraagt om enkele voorbeelden.

AansprakelijkheidsbeperkingOriginal Style is niet aansprakelijk voor de verkeerde installatie van zijn producten. In geval van claims met betrekking tot de tegels zelf is de aansprakelijkheid van Original Style, voor zover dit wettelijk is toe gestaan, beperkt tot het vervangen van het product of het vergoeden van de kosten van het product, en is gevolgschade niet inbegrepen. Claims moeten binnen zeven werkdagen na ontvangst van de tegels worden ingediend. De tegels moeten worden geïnspecteerd voordat deze worden gezet. Claims worden niet behandeld nadat de tegels zijn gezet. We wijzen u erop dat tot de zetting het aanvaarden van de hoeveelheid, kleur, structuur, afmetingen en schakering van de tegels behoort.

Original Style garandeert dat zijn tegels overeenkomen met hun omschrijving en geschikt zijn voor het beoogde gebruik. Original Style maakt geen andere uitdrukkelijke of impliciete garanties met betrekking tot de geschiktheid van de producten voor bepaalde installaties. We maken geen garanties, uitdrukkelijk of impliciet, ten aanzien van slijtagebestendigheid of onderhoudsmaatregelen.

Het is van groot belang dat de instructies van de producent voor voeg- en lijmmiddelen worden opgevolgd ten aanzien van hun geschiktheid in combinatie met onze producten. Raadpleeg de leverancier van de voeg- en lijmmiddelen van wie u de producten hebt gekocht in geval van twijfel. Original Style maakt geen beweringen over de geschiktheid voor gebruik van de lijmen en voegmiddelen van derde partijen. We wijzen u erop dat het gebruik van bepaalde bijtende reinigingsmiddelen kan leiden toteen reactie van de tegels, waarvan het uiterlijk kan veranderen.
