INSTRUCTORSThe experience and pride shows in their work each day. Each instructor has at least 10 years’ experience in adventure tourism domestically and/or international work. Their off season work includes snowmobile guiding or ski tour guiding; a few of guides even make it across the world to guide on rivers in New Zealand or beyond.

When people love what they do it positively impacts those around them. Given the amount of time our team has spent at Glacier, and in Golden, they’re no longer just ‘staff’. They are teachers and storytellers, instructors and mentors, trip planners, environmental advocates, friends and recreationists. They have a lot to share with you!

ISAAC KAMINK EXAMINER & LEAD INSTRUCTOR We think he might have been born on the river. For the past 13 years Isaac has spent every summer rafting with Glacier. He has a keen interest in professional guiding whether it is rafting or skiing. He brings a very technical and well rounded approach to his profession.

RYAN JOHANESSEN: EXAMINER & LEAD INSTRUCTOR Ryan’s interest for adventure sports is strong. He brings over 13 years experience on the water. He has a passion for snow and snowboarding too.

KRIS KING INSTRUCTOR Over the last 9 seasons Kris has guided on many rivers in Western Canada and brings to the instruction team an interest in expedition travel and natural interpretation.
