Tools, Adhesives & Ink: Paper trimmer, ruler, scissors, scoring tool, bone folder, double sided and metal adhesives, hole-punch, 1” circle-punch, piercer and soft mat, distress inks (Cashmere and Photogenic), blending sponges

Notes: • The Ornate Door Pull shown in the on the main image is not used or mentioned in the project sheet.• Measurements are width x height unless specified.

Directions: 1. Cut two 18” lengths of black/ivory striped ribbon and adhere 2 inches of each to the front and back covers, centered top to bottom. Adhere a 5½” x 7½” piece of Full Bloom to back cover. Cut a 2½” x 7½” piece then cut the bottom off at 37 ⁄8” when turned horizontally in the paper trimmer. Put aside. From the remaining piece, cut away a 1¼” x 2 ½” notch from the bottom (centered) as shown in photo to accommodate the spine’s metal label. Check the fit, then adhere into place. Cut a 5 ⁄8” x 15 ⁄8” piece of B-side of Full Bloom and insert into metal label.

2. Adhere the remaining Full Bloom piece to continue covering the spine.

3. From Literary

Lessons, loosely cut the chapter page to

resemble a worn, distressed look,

approx 37 ⁄8” x 57 ⁄8”. Ink edges if desired

with brown ink. Fussy cut the large

red flower and smaller pink flower from Little Women

signature page.

4. Select the cameo and “Do Something Splendid” tags from the Tags & Pockets pack, apply dimensional foam tape to back. From Boundless Beauty cut a 7 ⁄8” x 2¾” vertical border, and a 5¼” x 1½” horizontal border. Notch both strips as shown.

5. Die cut a 5” x 5” piece of black cardstock using

the lacy frame and clock dies. Slice

off ¼” from the left edge of the lacy

frame as shown.

6. From Full Bloom cut a 5½” x 7½” piece and adhere to cover. Adhere the chapter cut-apart and the vertical border strip as shown.

7. Adhere remaining

elements from Steps 3, 4 and 5 to the cover. (Tip: The lion

head door knocker should be added at the

end, or during a break, to allow

metal glue to dry before handling the

album.)

9. From Literary Lessons cut the 37 ⁄8” x 57 ⁄8” Little Women cut-apart and adhere to inside front cover, centered. Adhere the green bordered tag from the Tags & Pockets to the left as shown. For Page 1: Cut a 51 ⁄8” x 71 ⁄8” piece of Sisterly Love and 3¾” x 2¾” cut-apart from Something Splendid and fussy cut the fountain pen from Little Women. Adhere to page as shown, then add the “Hello” tag to the lower left corner.

10. Cut twelve 5¼” x 1” border strips from Boundless Beauty (see next photo for area to cut). Lay one face down so floral side is facing up. Cut a 5¼” length of antique gold ruffle ribbon, then cut in half lengthwise. Adhere one half along the bottom edge of the paper strip as shown, so the ruffle is hanging off. (Repeat with remaining border papers and ribbons.)

11. Cut a 5¼” x ½” border strip from Something Splendid (Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy) and adhere ¼” from top of Page 2. Cut the 37 ⁄8” x 57 ⁄8” Little Women cut-apart from Something Splendid and adhere below. Cut a 5” x 4¼” piece from B-side of Little Women and adhere to just above the pocket opening. Cut twelve 5¼” x 1¾” pieces from the second sheet/B-side of Something Splendid. Adhere one to lower pocket and then adhere the border/ribbon unit from Step 10.

12. Die cut B-side from Full Bloom using the regular tag die and adhere to black tag. Insert a 6” length of red/ivory striped ribbon and insert into pocket.

13. (Below) Page 4: Adhere paper units to pocket as in Step 11. Cut journaling prompt to 4½” x 7” for inside pocket. Cut

a 51 ⁄8” x 71 ⁄8” piece from B-side of Boundless Beauty and adhere to Page 5. From Something Splendid, cut apart the 3¾” x 2¾” piece and adhere to lower right corner.




14. Pages 6 & 7: From second sheet of Full Bloom, cut two 5” x 12” pieces. With floral side facing you, and the background script reading correctly turn the paper a quarter turn to the left and place into your scoreboard. Score at 6¼”. When

you fold along the score, you should have floral on the front with the blue inside and showing at the bottom. (See photo.) Punch four 1-inch circles from B-side of Literary Lessons. Adhere one to each of the “flaps” of the folded units, centered, then sandwich another circle on the other side of each.

15. Adhere the units from Step 14 to Pages 6 & 7 centered, as shown.

16. Pages 8 & 9: Repeat the same basic assembly as previously with the following papers and measures: Something Splendid 5¼” x 5 ⁄8” border strip and 37 ⁄8” x 57 ⁄8” March cut-apart to Pg-8. B-side of Little Women: 5” x 4¼” to Pg-9. Adhere border units to pocket. Die cut Orchard House using the regular tag die and adhere to black tag. Insert a 6” length of red/ivory striped ribbon and insert into pocket.

17. Pages 10 & 11: Adhere border units to pocket of Page 10. Cut journaling prompt to 4½” x 7” for inside pocket. Orchard House 51 ⁄8” x 71 ⁄8” to Pg-11, then add pocket and tag to lower right corner.

18. Pages 12 & 13: From second sheet of Boundless Beauty, cut two 5” x 12” pieces. Repeat scoring and folding instructions from Step 14. Punch four 1-inch circles from B-side of Sisterly Love, then adhere.




19. Pages 14 & 15: Something Splendid 5¼” x ½” border strip and 37 ⁄8” x 57 ⁄8” cut-apart to Pg-14. B-side of Little Women: 5” x 4¼” to Pg-15. Adhere border units to pocket. Die cut Sisterly Love using the regular tag die to cut a 4” tall section for the bottom portion. Die cut scrap from B-side of Boundless Beauty with regular tag die for top portion. Adhere to black tag. Insert a 6” of red/ivory striped ribbon and place in pocket.

20. Pgs 16 & 17: Adhere border units to pocket of Page 16. Cut journaling prompt to 4½” x 7” for inside pocket. B-side of Orchard House 51 ⁄8” x 71 ⁄8” to Page 17. Cut Something Splendid cut-apart 3¾” x 2¾” and adhere to lower right corner on three sides to create a pocket and insert tag from Tags & Pockets.

27. Pages 30 & 31: From second sheet of Orchard House, cut two 5” x 12” pieces. Repeat scoring and folding instructions from Step 14. Punch four 1-inch circles from B-side of Time to Cherish, then adhere.

29. Pages 34 & 35: Adhere border units to pocket of Pg-34. Cut journaling prompt to 4½” x 7” for inside pocket. Cut Sisterly Love 51 ⁄8” x 71 ⁄8” and adhere to Pg-35. Trim the Little Women pocket flaps and adhere to lower right corner.

31. Trim remaining journaling prompts to 5” x 7” each. Punch two circles from each of six different scraps of paper and adhere in a staggered fashion, as shown, to the journaling prompts. Full Bloom, Boundless Beauty, Time to Cherish, Sisterly Love, Sisterly Love (b-side) and Orchard House.

Insert each journaling card into the side-loading pockets of the album.

32. Close the album and tie the ribbons into a bow to close. Trim as needed.
