little cyborgs
DESCRIPTION
Our world changed a lot and the human brain has changed with the changes. The phone is "smart" and the knowledge is held in the hand, less in the brain. Machines seem to be able to think like a human and can pass the Turing test, while the third of the children get diagnosis of neurological deviance. While the environment drastically changed, the education is essentially the same it was in the 14th century. The presentation proves the role of art and board games in the development of the critical thinking. Collaborating sciences and a renewed educational approach can liberate the human thinking from the burden of the former era and avoid the psychiatrialization of our children. Technology necessitates and enables the changes.TRANSCRIPT

Dr. Éva Gyarmathy

„I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction. The world will have a generation of idiots.”
Albert Einstein
Our predigital fossils
The rapid changes will cease
Overtechnologization can be avoided
Our children can’t process the lot information
Our children are wrong when rely so much on the technology
Reading and writing is the base of the human culture
„……we won’t experience 100 years of progress in the 21st century — it will be more like 20,000 years of progress (at
today’s rate).”
Ray Kurzweil: The Law of Accelerating Returns, http://www.kurzweilai.net/the-law-of-
accelerating-returns, 2001.
„Within thirty years, we will have the technological means to create superhuman intelligence. Shortly
after, the human era will be ended.”
Vernor Vinge at the VISION-21 Symposium sponsored by NASA Lewis Research Center and
the Ohio Aerospace Institute, March 30-31, 1993
