Tokyo by Malik- Grade 4 Imagine a place like New York, now imagine that times 20-Incredible! Its futuristic lights amuse the cities, people, and tourists. Little cars zip around like flies. Tokyo is so busy, people need to walk on the street because the sidewalks overflow. It’s culture is historical. Over thousands of people live here because of the unique, exciting and sometimes even strange commotion. Beautiful characters everywhere. Silky dresses remind them of their ancient ancestors. Ice sculptures looks like crystal artifacts. The heart of Japan is extraordinary! Wacky hairstyles, exotic dishes have punches of flavor. Did you know Japan is the birthplace of karate? WHAT A FACT!This place has exhilarating language. What an amazing city.

Greece by Berta- Grade 2 Greece is a very good place. My favorite thing about Greece is swimming in the ocean. I love looking at the ocean. I love swimming in the ocean. I only swam once in the best ocean. Some oceans have rocks instead of sand. I love looking in the ocean because sometimes it is smooth and sometimes it has waves. The ocean sometimes is dark blue and sometimes it is light blue. Sometimes it has big waves and sometimes it has small waves. Greece is my favorite place!

More Places...

Grand Caymanby Carolyn grade 2

I went to Grand Cayman with my family last summer. The ocean in Grand Cayman was so clear that you could see the rocks at the bottom. The hotel my family stayed at was very pretty. The hotel has 2 pools and the ocean was right next to it. It was really hot there. One pool was all shallow with a volley ball net and a basketball net. In the ocean you can get on a boat if you want. We all had a wonderful time. Grand Cayman was the best!

The sounds of God cryingIn the night, the tree shivers from coldness. Later, a droplet of rain sprinkles to your

head.God is crying.

He cries and cries until he cannot stop.God’s tears come through the freezing clouds.

The clouds use all of their might and blow cold wind at their tears. The cold travels into the droplet of water.

The cold freezes the raindrop. It becomes sleet.Down and down they fall, touching the top of Mount Everest.

The rain disappeared. But don’t be sad. It’s sisters and brothers will be coming soon.Mount Everest sends a message to an eagle flying by to lead the raindrop’s sisters and

brothersDown from heaven.

The eagle nodded with agreement, then rose up to the sky and disappeared in the clouds.

The eagle, diving through the air, leads the group of sleet. The mountain was delighted.

The sleet hopped down to the tall buildings of Paris, the city of BostonAnd then a couple of ice balls from the group decided to come to the town of Sharon.

They leaped and skipped,Finally, they landed in Sharon, on the roof of my house.I can hear the frozen pellets chatter as the moment stops.

Jack and the Beanstalk in a Haunted Castle

By Eric Grade 2

Once upon a time there lived a boy named Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, but now he was grown up and looking for a

home. So he walked along a path but then something bad happened. The trail ended and he found himself in a dark

forest. There were trees blocking the sun but then he remembered he had three magic beans in his pocket and some

magic water to make them grow. When they grew to the clouds and higher Jack climbed up wearing green clothes and a

red white and blue scarf. When he saw a castle he thought he could ask for directions. When he went to ring the doorbell,

the door opened and Jack went inside and the door closed and locked behind him. Jack was trapped! Jack wandered

around and soon found himself face to face with a fire-breathing dragon. Jack tried to run, but the dragon was too fast.

Jack just made it through a small crack in the wall and walked along and saw a ghost. He knew ghosts weren’t real and

he saw a projector and went and turned it off, but the ghost was still there. Jack ran all the way to the kitchen and saw a

nice big steak. He took the steak to the dragon and fed it to him. The dragon liked Jack now and followed him up the

stairs and soon they came to a bedroom and saw the ghost and another projector. When he turned the projector off the

ghost was gone, but suddenly a mummy wrapped in toilet paper popped out of the wall. But the dragon protected Jack

and bit some of the toilet paper fell off of the mummy and it was really a person. The man said, ìSorry for scaring you it

just happens to be Halloween and I guess since you’re all ready here in this haunted castle you should live here. So Jack

did with his new pet dragon and lived happily ever after.
