The maritime museum in Gratangen has an extensive collection of
wooden boats. These boats have a very distinctive design that comes
from northern Norway.
Special arrangements, concerts, activities for children, teenagers and
grown-ups. The museum is also a great place for tourists, schools
and play schools to visit for education and learning.

Stables and horse riding all year round. Stable Holtås is a riding
school and stables, established in 2005 in Gratangen. Sissel Holtås
is our qualified riding instructor and teaches horse riding. Sissel
specialises in classical dressage and horsemanship. Our horses are
incredibly kind and very well trained. We would like to offer our
guests a warm welcome and an amazing experience.

outdoor grill on return. – Private lessons: 400 kr 1 hour for one person alone. 300 kr/
1 hour for 2 or more persons.

and use of house. – Rental of grill: 200 kr per hour – Accommodation: 200 kr per day per. person. House sleeps
up to 20 persons. – Other activities visits to the caves where Holtåsfolket
people lived under WW2. We can also arrange trips to the
mountains. – Weekend courses: gourmet courses for the grownups,
normal weekend courses for everyone and open farm. The weekend
course includes theory and 4 hour riding lessons. – Riding camp: 800 kr per day including, two overnight, food
and loads of fun. Riding camp is available in the summer, Easter,
Autumn/winter holidays and long weekends. – Other services: riding therapy, work training, home and
away. – Catering a varied choice of mains, desserts and cakes. We
have a creative and skilled cook, his food and cakes are delicious.
