VRUKSHPRAAN
As we all know that the green cover in India has been depleting day by day
due to various reasons like deforestation, construction of new buildings and
various other projects, in this view KLU NEMSIS has taken up the initiative and
started an event titled “Vruksh Praan” of planting saplings and do our worth for the
increase in the green cover. As part of this event we have planned on planting as
many saplings as we could and also let the people outside know the importance of
planting trees. So, few members of the organization set off for reaching the goal.
We have decided to plant saplings every Saturday and we have till now been
successful in doing so.
We started the event on 9th of July and till now planted 10 saplings at the
Yuvataram Foundation. We also have taught the children of the Yuvataram
Foundation about the importance of trees and the way we have to plant them In this
way we hope to do our bit in increasing the greenery.

NATIONAL SPORT’S DAY
With the emphasis on academics rather than physical education, although we have the
best of the academic schools and universities, but many schools and universities do not have
good sports facilities and good sports academics, no maintained playgrounds; equipment and if it
was, then it was not in good condition, no proper support staff, no athlete-friendly sports
policies.
We are still in the developing phase. Young Indians are given opportunity but the
facilities and opportunities are not enough; we still have to improve a lot. Things are definitely
changing now and are changing for the better. Therefore it is utmost important to encourage
students towards sports along with education
So in view of NATIONAL SPORTS DAY an event was organized at Government High
School (Vaddeswaram) as a measure to promote awareness and action related to cultivation of a
more active ,physically educated and healthier society.
We conducted Relay Race for the students of 8th Standard and Quiz related to Sports for
the students of 9th and 10th Standard which enthralled all the school children as well as our team.
