Fall is here and its crazy to think that the holidays are just around the cor-ner! We are busy planning the Holly Jolly Jubilee, which will be on Decem-

ber 10th. Make sure you are on the lookout for new changes to this years event. The Vendor Show will now be hosted at the Veterans Home and over 20 vendors have already signed up! Scenic Theater will be showing the Holi-day Movie again this year and Santa will be flying into Lisbon and landing at

the Fire Department from 1-3pm. Please join us for a sleigh ride through Sandager Park. Don’t miss great weekend of events in Lisbon and remember to shop local to find those great holiday gifts! Join us Sunday, December 11th for the Parade of Lights! We are so excited for this fun filled weekend here

in Lisbon!

Just a run down of our upcoming events this week! Thank you, Thank you Thank you! To those business that have signed up for the Trick or Treating

with our local businesses! We are so excited to have over 30 business in-volved this year! Also, if you are interested don’t forget to sign up for the

Deer Widow’s Night out on November 5th as there are 2 sessions for adults and 1 for children.

We are so excited to announce that in the month of October we have had four more business join the Civic and Commerce. Please help me in welcom-ing Farmers Union Insurance - Lance Gulleson, Hodenattes, Prospect Manor

and Shopko. I am so excited for the future of Civic and Commerce and all the great things we are going to do for our community!

Many of you I’m sure are preparing for 2017, I know crazy to think its just around the corner! We will be mailing out the 2017 C&C Membership Bro-chure by the end of November. I plan on stopping by each business to see what their expectations are of 2017. I also want to hear from all of you on

how we can get more members to attend the meetings and to become more involved in this great city!
