Project 1: In the paper board making process (valid also for wood board), the final cuts are done on a so called “synchro cutter”
being a double rotating blade.
The problem we are facing is a not “squared” sheet output and we need to assess this problem, find the potential solution(s) and
implement it.

Project 2: New filling machine for small portions in order to supply this demand on a mass scale especially for the export
market. Trend towards the consumption of smaller consumer items like 30g, 50g and 200g rather the traditional 450g and 900g packages. The filling machine should be comprehensive (filling, sealing, capping) taking into consideration the
compliance with all food safety regulations.

Objective: find an economical solution for generator’s multi stack exhaust manifold installed in high rise building
Criteria: Quality of fume at roof (penthouse & terraces), impact of exhaust fumes on idle generators, Heat Dissipation, Vibration, Load on building, Pressure drop inside Chimney, Restricted space allocated by the architect

Project 8: Quality Control System (substitute for manual testing)
System that transfers testing of paper quality from manual mode to automated mode by linking sensors placed on the machine during production to a specific analytic software, that will result in automatic correction for any error and reduction of paper loss and cost.
