A NEW GENERATION PRODUCT!Aquatain AMF is a unique liquid for mosquito control.

It is not a toxic chemical – it works by forming a very thinfilm of silicone on the water surface and disrupting themosquito lifecycle.

The Aquatain AMF film has a very low surface tension,which affects the mosquito lifecycle in two ways:

• it discourages female mosquitoes from laying eggs on the surface

• it prevents pupae from attaching to the surface and emerging to adulthood.

In addition to its low surface tension, the Aquatain AMF film hassome other features which make it a very effective product for mosquito control:

• it will spread around vegetation to completely cover the surface (forming a continuous barrier against mosquitoes)

• it is resilient to strong winds on open water, and will not build up on the downwind side of a water body

• being silicone based, it is resistant to ultraviolet degradation.

IS AQUATAIN AMF SAFE?Yes it is! Silicones are used in a wide range of applicationsincluding water-repellent sealers, hair conditioners, lipsticks,and in the baking trade as non-stick sprays. They degradein the environment into harmless silicates.

Aquatain AMF has been certified by NSF International for application to drinking water storages. NSF International is the world’s leading certification authority for drinking water chemicals.

APPLICATION METHOD & RATES

For large water bodiesFor standing water in ponds and larger water bodies apply at a rate of 1 litre per 1000 square metres. Aquatain AMF can be poured onto the water surface and will quickly spread around vegetation to cover the surface. Repeat application in 4 weeks.

For small water bodiesFor standing water in drains, gutters, water tanks, old tyres, etc,apply at a rate of 1 ml per square metre. (As a guide, a teaspoon holds 5 ml). Repeat application in 4 weeks.

STORAGEAquatain AMF is classified as non-hazardous and non-toxic. Use reasonable care and store away from oxidising materials.

HANDLING PRECAUTIONSAvoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.

FIRST AIDIf swallowed seek medical attention and treat symptomatically. Flush eyes with water.
