- Allows people within similar industries, interests, etc to share discussions and updates

- Have discussions and provide feedback for common topics- Share jobs within your company or your industry- Answer questions that may have been started or comment on discussions that have been started by others- This helps to show your expertise

LinkedIn Groups Overview/Why Should You Join Groups

- Trade Organizations- Search for any trade organizations that you are currently involved with

- American Teleservices Association - Your Chapter’s

Subgroup- University/Colleges

- Search for Alumni Associations that have been developed for

your University or College- Industry Groups

- Search for groups related to your industry

- When joining any group, check to see the activity

- Are there discussions going on?- Are other members engaging with the discussions that are happening?- Is the group profile up to date?- If they are not, this may not be a group that is very active and may not be worth joining- You want to join groups where people are engaging as that will be the most benefit to you as a member

- ENGAGE! - Post questions

- What are common issues or situations you are running into- you aren’t the only one

- Post article and blogs that would be of interest to group members

- No need to go anywhere additional - Share the blogs, articles, etc of the content you are already reviewing daily - If it is of interest to you or you learn something from it, so will others
