The Ötztal Alps, more than 5300 years ago. A Neolithic clan has settled nearby a creek. It is their leader Kelab´s (JÜRGEN VOGEL) responsibility to be the keeper of the group’s holy shrine Tineka.
While Kelab is hunting, the settlement is attacked. The members of the tribe are brutally murdered, amongst them Kelab’s wife and son, only one newborn survives... and Tineka is gone! Blinded by pain and fury, Kelab is out for one thing alone – vengeance!
The pursuit of the murderers is shaping up to be quite an odyssey for Kelab. He fights for the infant’s survival and against the forces of nature. And a fatal error even turns Kelab from hunter to hunted. On top of all that, the loneliness causes Kelab to doubt his actions more and more.
When Kelab finally faces the murderers of his clan, his greatest challenge will be not to become a victimizer himself…
THEY FOUND A MAN, BUT NOT HIS STORY.

DIRECTOR’S NOTE
I was at the Berlin Wall Park fleemarket when I ran into a copy of STERN magazine, on its cover a fur-clad man as he fought his way up the mountain through the ice and storm, his dogged determination palpable. The headline read „The Last Days of the Oetzi“. Of course, the case of the „man from the ice“ had come to my attention before but now the curiosity of the filmmaker had been roused: A man, alone in the Alps, at an altitude of over 3.000 meters, killed from behind 5.000 years ago.
The „oldest unsolved murder mystery ever“ unfolded before my inner eye. After some intense, in-depth research the story of a man came to life on an ominous quest – that of a longing for revenge. What does that longing do to him? How does it change his relationship to the world around him? But also – what happens after revenge has been achieved? A man in a constant battle with hostile, overwhelming nature, but always also with himself. A journey into the heart of darkness – as historic as it is emotionally timeless.
THE DIRECTOR
Felix Randau is a well-known director and author, born in Emden, Germany in 1974. While studying German Literature and Cultural Anthropology at the University in Bonn, he was guest student at Schauspielhaus Bonn and worked on his first film projects.
From 1995-2003 he studied at the Deutsche Film– und Fernsehakademie (dffb) in Berlin and already worked as an assistant director for film and commercials. Randau wrote and directed various feature films such as NORTHERN STAR and DIE ANRUFERIN (nominated at the German Film Awards in 2008).

THE DIRECTOR
Born in 1982, Jeffrey Walker started his career as an actor at the age of seven. After winning the Australian Film Institute‘s Best Young Actor Award in 1997, he went on to become one of Australia‘s youngest ever television directors at nineteen. For over a decade, Jeffrey helmed major Australian television productions shown domestically and around the world, including Chris Lilley‘s ANGRY BOYS for HBO, RAKE, H2O: JUST ADD WATER, the Emmy nominated DANCE ACADEMY and
the JACK IRISH TV movies starring Guy Pearce, which won him the Australian Academy Award for Best Direction in Television – making him the youngest ever recipient. In addition, he has won four Australian Directors Guild awards in the past five years, and received a further three nominations for his various comedic and dramatic works. Jeffrey began directing in the US in 2012 and so far has directed episodes across eleven TV series. These include MODERN FAMILY, BACKSTROM, RAISING HOPE, BONES, MIXOLOGY, RAKE (US) and the critically acclaimed DIFFICULT PEOPLE, where he directed all episodes and executive produced alongside Amy Poehler. In 2014, Jeffrey directed the prestigious BBC mini-series, BANISHED, again receiving nominations for the finale episode of the series in both the Australian Academy Awards and the Australian Directors Guild awards. ALI‘S WEDDING is his debut feature film. Currently, his second feature, DANCE ACADEMY - THE COMEBACK, is in the works. Jeffrey has directed over ninety hours of television, two feature films, all by the age of 34.

BASED ON THEIR LIFE STORIES: FOUR YOUNG JEWS SURVIVETHE NAZI TERROR IN BERLIN BY BECOMING INVISIBLE IN PLAIN SIGHT.
Berlin, February 1943: The NS regime declares the Reich’s capital “free of Jews.” At this point in time, 7000 Jews have succeeded in going underground. Almost 1700 will survive the horrors of the war in Berlin. The Invisibles tells the stories of four of these contemporary witnesses.
Hanni Lévy, who has just turned 17, has lost both of her parents. Thanks to her dyed, blonde hair, she is practically invisible to her pursuers, and strolls along the Ku’damm to pass the time away.
Cioma Schönhaus has also gone underground and leads an adventurous life that consists of buying a sailboat, dining in Berlin’s best restaurants, and becoming a forger of passports, through which he saves the lives of dozens of other Jews. And while Eugen Friede joins a resistance group that distributes anti-government leaflets, Ruth Arndt dreams about a life in America during the daytime; at night, she pretends to be a war widow and serves black-market gourmet foods in the apartment of an NS officer.
The dramatic re-enactments are intertwined with impressive interviews with the actual people whose lives inspired this film. The two levels blend together into an intensive, emotionally moving feature film and a historical tribute to the witnesses – of whom two are still alive.
THE DIRECTOR
Since the early 90ies, Claus Räfle has proven a sense for provocative issues and exciting subject matters with his body of work, distinctive through its modern journalistic approach and visual sophistication.
Time and again, profound humor and laconic narrative style were noted as the signature style of his productions by jurors and TV critics alike. Thus his satirical TV documentary Die Heftmacher was praised by the jury of the German Grimme Award as the most important work of TV journalism in that year. His video clips from the 1990s garnered lots of attention with their pointedly told stories. He developed and wrote THE INVISIBLES together with Alejandra López.
Many of his almost 40 feature-length TV documentaries, on which he has also served as writer, are distinct through their unconventional perspective, thoroughly entertaining in the best sense of the word and have found their way across borders.

One day, the middle-aged actor Stefan receives an unsettling phone call during a play; his father has passed away. In a mad rush, Stefan travels back to his home town near Bochum. It’s been years since he had turned his back on this seemingly depressing place. Planning to settle his father’s affairs rather quickly, he expects to be able to get back to Munich within four days. A chance for a part in a new soap opera is waiting for him.
Soon after arriving though, Stefan gets caught up in his past: his old room in the dilapidated house; his dead father at the funeral home; his childhood friend Toto, who takes him around town. At least, that last part seems a welcome distraction. Together, they embark on a journey taking them through a world which couldn’t be further away from Stefan’s life back in Munich, taking him back to the old days…
As Stefan is confronted with his old flame and new chances, he soon finds himself forced to make a choice that will change his life.
THE DIRECTOR
Sönke Wortmann is a German director and producer. He studied at Munich Film Academy (HFF) and his graduation film DREI D was nominated for a Student Academy Award.
His first big success was 1991’s ALONE AMONG WOMEN, which he topped with MAYBE… MAYBE NOT, the most successful German film of the 1990ies. After working as a producer on LAMMBOCK, he directed THE MIRACLE OF BERN, a film about the 1954 World Cup final. It went on to become a huge box-office hit for which he received several awards, amongst them the German Film Award (Silver).
Wortmann’s film DEUTSCHLAND. EIN SOMMERMÄRCHEN about the German national team’s journey to winning the 2006 World Cup remains the most successful documentary in German cinemas to this day. His adaptation of the Donna Cross bestseller POPE JOAN has attracted an audience of more than 2.6 million in Germany alone.

CALIBRE
Father-to-be Vaughn and his lifelong friend Marcus head to an isolated, struggling Scottish Highlands village for a weekend hunting trip. After a first night of heavy drinking with the villagers, the men head out on a misty autumnal morning, into a vast forest. When Vaughn tries to shoot a deer, a fatal accident happens. Instead of hitting the animal, his bullet rips into a child in the distance. The men make the fateful
decision to cover up the tragic incident. But piece by piece, their secret unravels as they become stranded in the village and sucked into a never-ending nightmare. As the locals close in on the truth, Vaughn is drawn into a series of increasingly unbearable and impossible moral choices that place both his survival and his family at stake.

THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER
The Unknown Soldier is an explosive war drama about a platoon of Finnish soldiers fighting the Soviets in the Second World War.Based on the best-selling novel by Väinö Linna and drawing from the author’s own experiences, The Unknown Soldier’s historical accuracy embraces the harsh realities of war—gritty and realistic, yet an unpolitical and humane account.
The story revolves around a diverse group of men, all at odds with how they see themselves, each other, and the common cause. Warm humour, camaraderie, and basic survival instincts are requisite for them to retain their humanity on the excruciating journey to Russia and back again.
THERE ARE STORIES THAT EVERY GENERATION SHOULD TELL THEMSELVES. THE PRESENT DOES NOT ERASE HISTORY, BUT CERTAIN THINGS FADE AWAY AND ARE LEFT IN THE BACKGROUND.

THE HAPPY PRINCE
The Happy Prince is an intimate portrait of the passionate, chaotic and ultimately tragic final chapter in the life of Oscar Wilde. Though much is known of his celebrated literary career and his devastating fall from grace, this film is a compelling exploration of the tumultuous and little known circumstances of his years in exile. It charts his doomed attempts to repair his reputation after release from prison, his failure to reconcile with long-suffering wife Constance, the reprisal of his stormy love affair with Lord Alfred Douglas, aka Bosie, the warmth and devotion of the many friends who try to save him from himself, and the impulsive
recklessness that leads to his heartbreakingly destitute final days. In a story so infused with misfortune, his incomparable wit remains remarkably intact, delivered with the eloquence and irresistible charm that helped to make him so famous in his earlier years. But the film also reveals a darker side to his genius: an arrogance and selfishness that eventually destroys not just his own life but those of the many he loves so dearly. This honest and at times startling profile reveals a new side to a global icon who is so widely revered yet so often misunderstood.
THE STORY OF THE LAST DAYS OF OSCAR WILDE IN EXILE.STARRING COLIN FIRTH, EMILY WATSON, TOM WILKINSON AND RUPERT EVERETT.
