Prince: Walter de CoutancesWalter has been Prince since 1494, establishing himself quickly in a domain lacking a Prince. Apparently, he arrived from Spain that same year, where he was a minor noble. Walter is assumed to be an adopted name, borrowed from a bishop of Lincoln.He is known to be a devoutly religious Catholic, and exerts considerable influence over the church in Lincolnshire, particularly the cathedral.Walter angered many in the Camarilla with his quick ascent, foreign habits & the wealth & influence of his monasteries, so much so that the Camarilla engineered the Reformation of 1521 to check his growth.He never seemed to recover from the blow, and chafed under Protestantism. Lincoln gradually dwindled in power; other English princes remained suspicious of the foreign interloper, and many cities refused to support him. Despite this, Walter retained enough personal power to resist attempts to wrest the position of Prince from him. Walter decided that it would be prudent to follow the party line, and was quick to join the campaign against the Sabbat. Walter still retains control of the church in Lincoln, but has not been quick to embrace new technologies, so his influences and resources are increasingly stretched in this modern age. Walter has been known to entertain the Sheriff of Cambridge, Gustav Taviani, and we have spotted letters being delivered between the two; sadly we were unable to intercept as yet.Walter rarely gives permission to embrace; this may have something to do with his devout nature, or maybe he merely wants to consolidate power?We could not discover which clan Walter belongs to; he has no doubt accumulated many disciplines over the centuries, and has certainly demonstrated mastery of the arts of domination in his tight grasp of the city. Our best guess would be Ventrue, but he has not been seen communicating with the other Ventrue in Britain; it is unknown if this is the result of a feud stretching back over the centuries to the Reformation, or if he is in fact a Tremere or Malkavian. However, we did not see any signs of activity or connections with your recent Tremere problem.Haven: A vault under Lincoln Cathedral.

Seneschal: Christopher CappervertUnlike Walter, Christophers clan is extremely evident; he revels in his Ventrue nature.He apparently arrived in Grimsby as a sailor on a slave ship from Africa in the early 1800s. He made a fortune through the slave trade, but was forced to turn his focus towards local industry in 1833, when slavery was abolished in Britain, though it seems part of his slave trade went underground.Through Christophers investments, Lincoln began to gain a reputation for the manufacture of heavy machinery. As the years went on, Christopher turned his industrial influence towards the military, with one of his companies creating the first tanks, as well as aircraft,munitions and military vehicles.

Christopher is rumoured to despise Walter, and only became Seneschal through the manoeuvring of the other clans. Christopher seems to act with caution in all he does, and has not made an obvious grab for power, despite eying the role of Prince quite openly.Christopher had more of an inclination towards relations with the rest of the Camarilla than Walter, and also invested heavily in transport links with the rest of Britain, hoping to use the considerable force of his clan to force Walter from power. Christopher, though, is not highly regarded amongst his own clan, due to his origins as a slave, which leads many to look down upon him; in his own way he is as isolated as Walter.Christopher is rumoured to have sequestered a stockpile of munitions and weapons from both world wars, products of his factories.Haven: A warehouse under Boston Marketplace, part of the underground port of the river Haven. Harpy: Dr. Alexander Cruickshank HoustonDr Alexander has been extremely useful in our investigation of Lincoln, exchanging information with Sol Dan of our pack. A Nosferatu; he is rather ambivalent about the Camarilla despite his position at Court, and we believe that it may be possible to persuade him to join the Sword of Caine. He has also been in contact with Patrick Wiseman of our pack, exchanging research data regarding the effects of chemicals on test subjects.Before his embrace Dr Alexander Cruickshank Houston was a doctor and chemist in the late Victorian period, attracting fame when he rid Lincoln of the plague by adding chlorine to the water supply in 1904. His sire, he told me, had been studying the effects of the plague, and thought that it would be sweet irony to embrace the good doctor.

Newly embraced, Alexander was able to continue operating as a night-time emergency doctor at Lincoln County Hospital, and did so for many years, using his powers of Obfuscation to remain hidden. The advent of greater surveillance technology in hospitals in the late 1970s forced Alexanders retirement as a medical practitioner, but he continues to exert influence over the hospital. Keeper of Elysium: Semyon AisensteinSemyon, active from 1928, is mostly invested in the field of new technologies, influencing the many IT companies that have recently become prominent in Lincoln.

Hailing from a wealthy and influential family, Semyon is apparently rather embarrassed to be a Brujah, a fact that has only drawn attention to his clan.Prior to his embrace, Semyon attended Cambridge University, rowing for his college and for the university in the annual boat race against Oxford. Humiliated not to have been embraced to the ruling clan, Semyon took pains to find a new domain. He does not seem to be in contact with the rest of his clan, displaying open distain for the brutes.However, he still visits Cambridge occasionally to buy experimental IT from companies in Cambridges silicon valley.Haven: Under Workspace 9 in the Think Tank, Lincoln marketplace.

Scourge: Aasiyah Ibn-Quadri Al-Murrah Aasiyah is an ambassador from Alamut, rumoured to be one of many emissaries dispatched to Courts around the world as part of an effort by the Assamites to become part of the Camarilla. Not wanting to trespass on the domains of his hosts, Aasiyah took up residence on a canal boat on the River Witham.Haven: A canal boat on the River Witham.

Sheriff: Loretta Rivett

Since her arrival in 1860, Loretta has influenced Lincoln through her control of the educational institutes in the area. Through this network Loretta is able to communicate with other domains in England more effectively than most of the Lincoln Camarilla. Recently the University of Lincoln has entered into extensive exchange programs with the University of Edinburgh, which is apparently due to Lorettas connections to Edinburgh.

Rumours abound that Loretta is part of some secretive cult; she has shown intense interest in the recent fey attacks in Cambridge and is known to pay well for fragments of Gehenna prophecy. She has also displayed an intense hatred for the Sabbat, which has resulted in the loss of members of our pack in recent years.Loretta has an unusual and observable quirk: she mutters her thoughts aloud constantly.Haven: Under Tithe Barn, Lincoln University campus.
