Families, We had so much fun in February celebrating Valentine’s Day together and learning about our community. It was fun celebrating Valentine’s Day, sharing our love and friendship with one another! We had a good time passing out Valentine cards, engaging in sensory activities, as well as decorating and eating cupcake-brownies! We enjoyed our pretend center playing doctors and firefighters! I love when I can see the children become so interested and engaged in learning through play. I can’t wait to see what their futures hold and what jobs they may choose later on in life! J In March we will be learning about dinosaurs. This is a favorite topic of many of our classmates, so I cannot wait to see them learning to be mini paleontologists! The first week of March our school will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday though a dress up week! You can find those dress up days at the bottom of the newsletter or in the flier sent home! Please note the upcoming events happening at FLS this month in the box below. Some of these events (such as our March family school partnership day to Marbles, as well as the dates for Spring Conferences) require RSVP’s, so please make sure to check folders and papers going home!
