Dependency & Neglect ProgramCourt Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers advocate in the best interest of

abused and neglected children, work closely with members of the court system and

make recommendations to judges to ensure children are placed in safe and

permanent homes where they can thrive

Life Long Links (LLL)Serving children in the foster care system, Life Long Links connects these youth to

extended family and other supportive individuals in order to build a network of

stable, caring relationships and ensure safe and

permanent homes.

Supervised Exchange and Parenting Time (SEPT)The SEPT program is a court ordered service that protects children from witnessing

parental disputes during exchanges and provides supervised visits between children

and their non-custodial parent in a safe

environment.

Milton Foster Children’s Fund (MFCF)The MFCF program provides foster youth with services and opportunities not

provided by any other agency including: unmet medical and dental needs,

specialized educational assistance and tutoring, life-skills workshops and

extracurricular activities that help to build resiliency and self-esteem.

Children and Families in Transition Seminar (CFIT)CFIT is a required seminar for divorcing parents to educate them about the effects of

Donovan Rose serves our country as a staff sergeant in the Army and he also

serves our local community as a Court Appointed Special Advocate

volunteer. Donovan is an advocate for Nate, a 17-year-old boy who has

been bounced around the child welfare system since age two.

Donovan’s commitment showed Nate how adults are trustworthy and

he isn’t to blame for what happened to him.

“It’s important for these kids to have one constant

person thinking of them. These kids are our tomorrow.

I’m so grateful to make a difference for them.”

Kyle and Hope Forti make a great husband and wife

CASA team. Together, they shared duties advocating

for a sibling group removed from an abusive home

and placed in separate foster homes. They fought

for what was best for the children and stood with

them until they found a safe and permanent

home.
