Mystic Mountain is Western Pennsylvania’s ideal learning environment for first-time skiers, with 25 acres of fun, short lines, friendly trails and experienced instructors.

If winter sports are your thing then you are in luck! Downhill skiing and snowboarding are available on six slopes at Mystic Mountain, with slope difficulty ranging from beginner to expert. Mystic Mountain has a 300 foot vertical drop, three lifts, and is 100% illuminated, making night snow sports great fun.

Our professional staff is available for private lessons and ready to assist those in need. Mystic Mountain also has rental equipment available, leaving no excuses for battling the mountain!

WE ARE NOW PSIA CERTIFIEDSKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONSMystic Mountain offers a variety of programs for all ages. The Snow Sports Academy employs the finest professional instructors from all over the world. Our instructors offer skiing, snowboarding and cross-country lessons.

The only way to learn a lifelong sport is by taking lessons. It is highly recommended for guests to book a lesson with one of our professionals. Private lessons are available every day Mystic Mountain is open by advanced reservation. Lessons are available for any age, but it is recommended that children be at least four years old.

Lessons must be scheduled in advance. It is important to note that a 100% fee is charged for no-shows. Cancellations are required 24 hours prior to the lesson to avoid the 100% cancellation charge.

MYSTIC MOUNTAIN SNOW CAMP (Ages 4-12)The goal of Snow Camp is to instill confidence and a love of the sport of skiing and snowboarding to participants in the safest manner possible. We ensure everyone has a great time as they learn new skills in a “cool” social environment. The full-day program includes two on-the-snow group sessions in our one-of-a-kind Magical Land of Snow, a hearty skier’s lunch, interactive indoor themed activities and a skiing report card to monitor the specific skills necessary to grow in the sport.

Please allow 35 minutes for registration during the holidays. The junior programs are supervised by a highly professional team of instructors and the goal is to improve the ability of every participant.

Take a seat on our specially designed tubes and navigate down our 800 foot tubing park. Tube and rider are carried back to the top of the hill by our surface lift for multiple rides. Reservations required.Solo riders must be 42” tall. Riders 33”-41” must be accompanied by an adult.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING $20 per person - $5 for Pass HoldersCross Country Skiing has been an event on the grounds of Mystic Mountain and Nemacolin since the 1970’s. Our trails include gorgeous views of the Laurel Highlands. Rental equipment is available at the Sundial Ski Lodge. Beginner and Intermediate lessons available weekends only. Weather permitting.

SNOWSHOEING $20 per personExperience “flotation” this winter. Snowshoe rentals are available at the Sundial Ski Lodge. Our trails include gorgeous views of the Laurel Highlands. Weather permitting.

DOG SLEDDING $150 plus $25 for an additional riderDog sledding at Nemacolin is an experience for the entire family. Our exclusive team of sled dogs that call Nemacolin home are jumping at the chance to give everyone an encounter you won’t ever forget. Experience consists of a ½ hour kennel tour and a ½ hour ride. Maximum combined weight of riders 275 pounds.

THE SLOPES OF MYSTIC MOUNTAIN

●BEGINNER HILL: Large beginner bowl area. This slope is perfect for skiers and snowboarders who are working on their stopping and turning abilities.

●GERONIMO: Our longest slope at one-half mile in length. By taking this slope, our guests are utilizing the easiest way to the bottom of Mystic Mountain. A laser-guided system was used to cut this beautiful trail, which is excellent for learning to ski or snowboard.

GRIZZLY RUN: A step up from Geronimo with more thrilling terrain for those new intermediates. This slope also has an incredible view of the Laurel Highlands.

♦ NOSE DIVE: A gorgeous expert trail for those that can tackle Grizzly Run. This slope is a short, but steep descent, which exits onto Geronimo Slope.

♦ CLIFF HANGER: When your stomach meets your throat, you’re halfway down this expert trail.

♦ SHOWBOAT: This trail is located under the quad chair lift, which provides plenty of onlookers to watch skiers and riders devour this challenging expert trail.

TERRAIN PARK

Our terrain park will be great for beginners to learn the skills needed to be successful in a terrain park. It is located on the left side of Grizzly Run and includes the following:

• One 16’ flat box• One 24’ flat box• One 14’ down flat rail• One 16’ down cannon rail• One 24’ rainbow box

along with a few snow made jumps
