Conclusion
I-Fi Means “Light Fidelity”. Li-Fi is transmission of
data through illumination, i.e., sending data through a
LED bulb that varies in intensity faster than human eye
can follow
It is Fast and cheap Optical Version of Wi-Fi, based
on VLC- Visible Light Communication
Li-Fi Technology Was
Invented By A German
Physicist HARALD HAAS
He demonstrated it in the
year 2012
RadioWaves
InfraredRays
VisibleRays
Ultra violetRays
X-Rays
GammaRays
Expensive, Less Secure
Causes Eye problem
Best to Use
Effects Human Body

Data Transfer upto 54Mbps
Uses the Visible light portion
Uses the Radio wave portion
Uses Light as Carrier Uses Radio spectrum
Cheaper Expensive
Giga MIMO
Giga Shower

Giga BeamGiga Dock
10000 times more spectrum than Radio Waves
Highly Efficient because LED consumes Less energy.
Provides Light as well as Data Simultaneously.
Great High Data Transfer.

Light can’t pass through
objects.
High installation cost of VLC
systems.
Interferences like sun light,
external bulb, lights may cause
interruption to data transfer
from LED
Challenge facing LI-FI is how
the receiving device will
transmit back to transmitter
?
The possibilities are numerous and can be
exploded further. If this technology can be
put into practical use, every Bulb can be
used something like a Wi-Fi Hotspot
