Life By Danielle

A year in review

January

It was a soggy start to 2014 with the UK hit by terrible floods. My parent's home wasflooded at Christmas and they still haven't been able to return yet.

But what better way to cheer up in the rain than learning how to make raw chocolatewith Amy Levin at Ooosha. Damn her chocolate is good!

One of my highlights of the year came early with a meeting with Hay House to discussone of my big passions - books!

February

Life By Danielle was born with help from my wonderful friend and advisor Thao.

I knew my old brand 'Enabling Evolution' no longer represented my essence andwanted a brand that could expand and grow with me. Life By Danielle felt exciting tome because when the time comes to be a mother it would still work but also if I wantedto change direction totally and become a traveller photographer, for instance, then Icould.

I loved the freedom that came with this brand.

March

The first Deep Pause of 2014 was an intimate retreat with special friends. We laugheduntil we cried and talked of love late into the night.

I froze on a Cornish beach with wellies filled with water for a photo shoot by AmandaClarke that would form the foundation of the new website. We indulged one of myfavourite past-times - picnics!

There was even time to pop into Radio Cornwall for an interview on David Whyte'sshow.

April

Was the wonderful wedding of my friends Zoe and Bryan inThailand. A gorgeous celebration in paradise.

May

I love my birthday as it signifies thecoming of Spring. I celebrated with myyounger brother and sister. We dugvegetable plots, toasted marshmallows, had alpaca adventures and kyacked onthe beautiful Helford Passage.

But sadly it was time for our beautifulfriend Hannah to leave us. She touchedso many people deeply and she remains astrong presence in many of our lives. Herdeath taught me the value of life.

In the short time we knew each other shemade an indelible mark.

I got passionate about baked eggs - don'task! Anyone who had a social event forthe next few months got to experience thebrilliance of my egg delights!

The Insiders Guide to Coaching waslaunched. Thao and I reviewed endlesswebsite copy (less fun!) and I had voicecoaching for the first time.

June

This was an epic month! I was back inSingapore for the first time in two years, reunited with my gang and grateful forfriendships that cross continents.

The Pause had its first corporate outing witha team in Singapore, and I did my first talkto a large audience as Entrevo launched theirKey Person of Influence programme in Asia.

The team at So Technology did an incrediblejob and my website was launched. Hugeacknowledgement to Richard Burch whocreated a design that captured my essence.

It didn't end there, as the first content videoswere shot and we captured a film for ThePause. Gavin at Holy Cow productions wasso incredibly good humoured and patient

as I fumbled my way through filming! Realcows got involved which gave us a goodgiggle!

The very first 5 day Deep Pause waslaunched. It was a totally tropical week andour time at Waterloo Farm was made moremagical by Dave driving hundreds of milesto play his guitar and sing for us around thecampfire.

After all that excitement it was good tosimply pause, breathe and feel the sandbetween my toes. But June had one lastadventure in store. I left The Pause andheaded to Glastonbury!

JulyA quiet month of reflection for me, as theenormity of my relationship ending hithome. Knowing there are people whowere sharing the journey with me made iteasier. I am constantly touched wheneversomeone takes the time to write a post oremail me, and comments like these keptme going on the difficult days.

"I am liking your new websiteDanielle. Particularly liking thispost -- making yourself visible whilein the process of waiting for clarityis a bold and brave expression of agenuinely authentic human being."

"Not everything in life needs to becomplete and set in the correctorder. I am invited to breath, acceptand be in wonder. Thank youDanielle!"

"Hello, beautiful lady. I just sawyour website and I have a feeling weare spiritual sisters. I just wanted tolet you know I am holding space foryou to let the potential flow out andflow back in to you. The give and thereceive. Its amazing where thejourney pulls us, isn't it?"

Photo shoots were plotted.I learned about make-up and selfies!

I left Cornwall and moved to London.

August

There were more film and photo shoots this month, but there wasalso time for play!

Beach huts and bubbles with friends.

Later in the month I retreated to my healing place to be nurturedby Sharon at Agape Cottage. I'm so grateful to her and my otherhealing team.

SeptemberA team was built this month!Joining Thao and I, Norma came onboard to help me manage my unrulyinbox. Sarah joined to keep the flowof communication to you all runningsmoothly, and Hayley began to stepinto her role as Pause facilitator andcoach.

This was also the month of superstying with the utterly gorgeous FiIvin. I learned so much from herabout what to wear and my newwardrobe was the perfect pick meup. I was going to need it as we didMORE shoots!

Spiritual styling was done by thevery talented Sarah Akwisombe.David Lau captured a new round ofimages. Branding never stays still!

There was also a transformationalDeep Pause in the woods of Wasingthis month.

October

The seasons began to change and there were fire ceremonies with friends. Igot down to writing as my book proposal began to take shape.

I switched my peppermint tea for fresh coconuts and green juice inThailand... The sunshine helps me write better - honest!

November

We saw mellow mornings and spectacular sunrises at the finalDeep Pause of 2014. It was fitting that my dear friend Colin satalongside me and that my Mum came to experience The Pause forthe first time.

I was deeply moved by the art installation at The Tower OfLondon, Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red.

December

A well needed Winter warmer at The Lightworks yoga and raw foodretreat.

The Instant Pause was a huge success, and as the energy builds I'mpreparing to launch this workshop in Singapore in the new year.

I had my first trip to India, which was an explosion of love and colourbefore taking a well deserved Christmas nap in a hammock in Thailand!

Thankyou

Thank you to everyone who played a part in this year.

To all of my clients thank you for trusting me and teaching me. I amgrateful.
