TRANSCRIPT
Wow, what a busy quarter. God has really been blessing Lifehouse with new clients. Last year
we served 47 clients, and we’ve added 28 new clients so far this year (through August), bringing our
total client number to 75. That’s 75 people we’ve been able to share the gospel with and, hopefully,
impacted their life for the good.
We have been mentoring 6 clients from the very beginning, and they’re still coming to classes.
Curious, I asked them what Lifehouse offers them and why they keep coming. Here are some of their
responses:
“When I first came to Lifehouse, I was a single 17 year old girl with a baby boy. Now I am 19
and married. The ladies at Lifehouse have helped me be a better parent, be a better person, and grow
closer to God. I love Miss LaRae and Miss Becky. They help me in so many ways. They’re not just
teachers, they are family. I understand a lot more and I’m a stronger person now.”
“I’m 23 and have a 2 year old. Lifehouse has helped me be a better parent and make better
choices. I feel loved at Lifehouse. They show me how to handle situations with my child and how to
show her the love and attention she needs. They also showed me how to manage money and how to
avoid credit cards unless you can pay it all off at the end of the month. In the job skills class, they
taught me how your first impression is very important, so make it your best. And they showed me how
to present myself better when looking for a job.”
“I have 4 children. Lifehouse helped me realize to not give up on a disciple plan. And I never
knew before that disciple means ‘to teach’. I always thought it meant punishment. I have a new baby
and Lifehouse has helped me get the things I need. Miss Becky, Miss LaRae, and Miss Peggy are very
caring, encouraging, understanding, and most of all non-judgmental. Instead of making you feel worse,
they lift you up and encourage you to do better. I pray more and worry less now. They have taught me
how to be a better Godly parent and to realize that you have to lead your children by example.”
“I started coming to Lifehouse to get diapers and clothes for my babies. Now I come to learn
from the classes. The ladies are very friendly and honestly care and help out in any way they can. They
have helped me be a better parent and know how to apply for jobs.”
“I first came to Lifehouse to earn free diapers for my baby. I wasn’t working, so it was very
helpful. My baby is potty-trained now, so I come just to be around positive people. Besides, there is still
things I am learning. I love the Lifehouse staff, they are the best. They know what to say and how to
guide you in the right direction. Miss Peggy does a wonderful job with the children, and of course Miss
Becky and Miss LaRae are just awesome. They have taught me to strive to be the best and that there’s
nothing impossible through God.”
“I enjoy the classes. They help you get to a better place in your life and help you to become a
better person. They are the most wonderful caring people. They are willing to go out
of their way to help in any way they can. They have helped me look for a job and I’ve
gotten diapers, a swing, walker, high chair, bouncer, clothing, and a lot more for my
baby.”
It is truly a blessing and a joy to get to work with these wonderful ladies.
For more testimonials, and to find out how you can help us reach more women for
Christ, come to our fundraising banquet on November 1st. There’s more information
about the banquet on page 2. Until next time...

Lifehouse Banquet
We hope you will join us for our 3rd annual fundrais-
ing event. It will be a fun evening of music, stories,
and a wonderful Italian meal. It doesn’t cost anything
to come, but reservations are required (so we’ll know
how much food and tables we’ll need). Come out and
learn more about Lifehouse and how you can be a part
of our team. We are trying to raise money to open a
maternity home/transitional living facility in Tift
County to serve women in all of South Georgia.
We are currently accepting table hosts for this event.
If you would like to host a table of 8 (you plus 7
guests), please call or email us today. All you have to
do is give us the names, addresses, & emails of your
guests. We will provide you with more details closer to
the event.
We are also accepting sponsorships to help off-set
the costs of the banquet. If your business, civic club,
church, or family would like to be a sponsor, please
call or email us. We would love to provide you with
our sponsorship levels and benefits.
If you would like to donate a door prize for the ban-
quet, we would greatly appreciate it. Contact
Lifehouse or one of our Board members and we will
gladly pick it up. Thank you!
HOW TO BECOME
A LIFEHOUSE DONOR:
It costs a lot to provide the classes, transportation, and
resources we offer our clients. Besides those services,
we also have the daily costs of running a business. Ad-
ditionally, we are raising funds and setting aside money
to build a maternity home/transitional living facility
(residential) to serve women in crisis pregnancy situa-
tions. Proving temporary housing could save the lives
of unborn babies. Could you spare $20, $50, or $100 a
month to help us? Here’s how:
1. Mail your check, made payable to South Georgia
Ministries (SGM), to P.O. Box 252, Tifton, GA
31793. Let us know if you would like us to provide
you with self-addressed envelopes.
2. Set up your online banking account to automatically
draft a check to us each month. (This is the easiest
method.)
3. Go to our website: www.sgmlifehouse.org and click
on the ‘Donate’ button. You can do a one-time gift
or set it up to automatically charge your credit card or
checking account each month. This is through Pay-
Pal.
4. If the above options don’t work for you, let us know
and we’ll think of something else.
Our Vision
We started this ministry in 2009 with the primary goal of
opening a maternity home to house pregnant women in crisis
pregnancy situations. We are still striving toward that goal.
Will you pray with us that God will provide us with land or a
facility to begin this next phase of our ministry? He has been
so faithful already to bring us to Phases I & II (education and
transportation). We can’t wait to see what He has planned for
us next.
If you have land or
a house that you
are not using, just
think of all the
lives you could
save or change by
donating those to
Lifehouse. You
could offer help,
hope, and healing
to many women in
desperate need. And it’s tax-deductible. What a legacy!
