GO-Partner Visit

Don & Jodi Green, our GO-Partners to Slovenia, will be visiting The Dust To Glory ABC class today at 9:45am in the Gym. All those interested in hearing an update on their work with Cru/Family Life are welcome to attend.

Car Winterization Day For Seniors & Single Women

Saturday, September 26

We will provide basic maintenance services, such as oil change, tire rotation, fluid checks, and wiper blade replacement in addition to addressing other reasonable problems on an as-needed basis. Seniors and single women please contact the church office at 692-1755 to make an appointment for your car! If you have questions, or would like further information, contact Bob Castle (693-3689) or Don Haupt (217-620-6158).

Ladies’ Bible Studies

A new semester of Ladies’ Bible Studies begins this week!

Our prayer focus this month is our Awana ministry. Awana is for kids age 3

through 6th Grade and seeks to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of

Christ and train them to serve Him. About 250 children attend our Club;

almost half of the children do not attend Bethany. It is a great outreach!

Pray for our Club Directors.

Pray for our Leaders and Listeners.

For God to call those whom He desires to serve and for the Lord to

bring additional leaders.

For all our Awana leaders to walk closer to God each day and glorify

His name through their Awana participation.

Please pray for leaders hearts to be strengthened and prepared to

love on these children. That they would have patience and great joy in this opportunity to reach children and families with the Gospel.

Pray for our Awana Clubbers.

Pray for the Lord to bring the children and prepare their hearts to

receive the love of the leaders and the Gospel of Christ.

Pray that they will be protected from evil.

Pray that God will give them the capacity to obey parents and

authorities.

Pray that they will desire right friends.

Pray for the hearts of the children to be prepared to memorize God’s

Word.

Pray for the Word of God to soften hearts and shape minds to

understand their sin and their need for a Savior.

Pray that families who don’t know Christ will be reached and families

who do know Christ with be strengthened.
