Driving to school everyday isn’t as great as it seems. Most mornings I wake up when it’s still dark out, so I can avoid traffic on the way to school.

Because I drive to school and work everyday, I have to fill up my gas tank two or three times a week. So I have to make sure I put money aside to go towards gas.

I park in Lot 7 everyday which gets crowded fast so I have to leave for school earlier to make sure I get a spot. Most days, I end up parking towards the back of the lot. Walking back to Lot 7 at night can be scary so Sam and I walk back from class together with her pepper spray.

DS Making friends was tough at first, so I spent my breaks by myself or with other

students from my town. As the semester went on I met other students to spend my breaks with.

The best parts about living home are eating a home cooked meal everyday instead of school food, and going home to my own room with my comfortable bed each night.

I work two jobs, on Mondays and weekends so I have money for gas and food during the week.

Dancing is something I’ve been doing since I was three years old. It’s one of the main reasons I decided to commute instead of living on campus. After class, I split my time between doing homework and attending dance class.

My family is very close, living at home allows me to still be involved in everything going on in their lives.

My friends are like my second family so it’s nice to be able to see them whenever I have free time. I spend most of my weekends with my friends that are still living home or visiting the ones at school.
