Lieutenant Governor to visit Brockville
Toronto, April 20, 2016. Her Honour the Hon. Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario,
will conduct an official visit to Brockville on Thursday, April 21, 2016. The visit is part of Her Honour’s
continued program of travel to communities across the province.

9:30 a.m. – Arrival and cour tesy call with Mayor David Henderson

The Lieutenant Governor will be received by Brockville Mayor David Henderson during a private
courtesy call.

10 a.m. – Aquatarium tour
Aquatarium, 6 Broad Street, Brockville
Accompanied by the Mayor and members of the senior leadership team at the Aquatarium at Tall Ships
Landing, the Lieutenant Governor will conduct a tour of this interactive learning and education centrelocated on the shores of the St Lawrence River. The Aquatarium focuses on building awareness and
appreciation for the 1000 Islands Region and the river’s importance to health and quality of life, while
encouraging people to get involved in many different kinds of stewardship in interconnected fields
ranging from the environment to the economy.
