Team effortThe new LIET installation in this major new Grange Tower hotel development in the City of London delivers seamless control, exacting lighting ambience and the lowest lifetime ownership costs. Involved from the early project design stages, our engineers were able to significantly reduce the installation costs by taking advantage of LIET’s low voltage native dimming architecture. Class-leading LED specification» When investing in LIET

products you can specify

precise light qualities or

colour temperatures and trust that these will be

accurately replicated across all matching LIET

fixtures. Out of the enormous range of LEDs

offered by Cree, our LED-supply partner, we only

ever select LEDs from a very narrow sub bin for

both flux (light output) and chromaticity. Every

LIET fitting produced is also fully traceable via

our computer database to ensure that we retain

the performance and characteristics data needed

for future matching.

Optical excellence» At LIET CORP we use

the very latest lighting

software to refine the bright

unfocussed light of raw

LEDs and transmit it into the

surrounding space.

» All LIET products use our own integrated

collimators, optics or reflectors to transmit the

highest level of light with as little as seven per cent

loss through the optics. The angle of light can also

be refined to produce a beam or spread that will

meet your specific needs.

» All published LIET CORP lumen data is actual

fixture lumen and not theoretical lumen data.

Thermal precision» The efficiency of LED lights

depends on their ability to

get rid of heat as quickly as

possible. They can only do

this by conduction. Since

placing an LED ‘bulb’ into an existing fitting

always results in overheating, it also leads to a

reduced light quality and shorter life.

» At LIET CORP we design each and every one

of our products as a complete lamp and fixture.

At the heart of each lamp is our own Cooldrive™

technology. A unique thermal optimisation

diagnostics system, Cooldrive™ manages the

junction temperature inside the LED dye to

help maintain an optimum temperature for

performance and life. The lower the junction

temperature, the more efficient the LED fixture,

and the longer it will last.

Programmable dimming control» All LIET products feature

Controlsmart™, our in-

house technology that

facilitates lighting control

and dimming. Controlsmart™ also features full

diagnostics to protect your investment from

supply fluctuations and irregularities.

» A large number of LIET products include

onboard microprocessor controllers that allow

for real-time monitoring of the light source’s

performance and operation. The embedded

software can be tailored to provide almost

infinite control.

» In addition, LIET sources being used to replace

discharge and pl lamps feature seamless dimming

ambient light-control systems to dim or power
