Support for distance learners
If you're on a distance learning course, we can
help you by
• letting you borrow things for longer periods
of time
• sending books out to you through the post
• supplying you with copies of journal articles
and book chapters that aren't available
electronically
If you'd like to find out more, contact the Distance Learner Support
Service by phone on 0114 225 2127 or email at [email protected]
Most UK universities will allow you to use the
eduroam Wi-Fi network, meaning you can get
internet access away from SHU
step 1: select eduroam from the list of Wi-Fi networks
Search for 'eduroam' on shuspace for information
on connecting your laptop, phone, etc.
step 3: enter your password as normal
step 2: enter your username followed by '@shu.ac.uk'
