• First create your PowerPoint presentation.
• When you are happy with it, go to SlideShare and login.
• Click UPLOAD to begin uploading your presentation.
To upload one file at a time click on the ‘Trouble Uploading’ tab. (The upload seems to work faster using this link)

Browse for the PowerPoint file you want to upload

Choose the file you wish to upload and click ‘Open’

Here you can Share your slideshow in twitter, facebook or email

Go to the menu bar at the top – click on the down arrow and choose ‘My Uploads’.This will give you a list of all your uploads.

Click on the name of the file that you wish to embed

Tick ‘Without related content’

Click ‘Copy’

Go to Libguides.Choose ‘Add New Box’

Choose ‘Multimedia boxes’ and then ‘Embedded Media and Widgets’ from the drop down menu

Fill in the ‘Box title’ and ‘Position’ and then click ‘Create Box’

Click ‘Add Media/Widget Code’
Paste the code that you copied from SlideShare in the ‘Embed Code’ box.‘Save Changes’

You will notice that the slideshow is on the left of the page and that there is some text at the bottom of the slideshow.
