LI5203 is an elective 4MC module offered by TLI-APin conjunction with the Summer School Programmeat LOGISTIKUM in Steyr, Austria.
Students may include this module to satisfy theM.Sc. (SCM) degree requirements, subject to theapproval of the M.Sc. (SCM) programme office.

• To provide a unique enriching experiential learning opportunity to gain a broader understanding and insight intoglobal logistics and supply chains, over an intensive 2-week summer school programme at the Logistikum, Universityof Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
1. LI5203 OVERVIEW
Modes of Teaching and Learning
• Problem-based learning, company visits, presentations by company executives, and case analysis and presentationsby students.
• LI5203 will be graded the same as a regular 4MC module.
• Assessment will be based on class participation and discussion, case analysis and presentations.

• Adopting a case-based learning approach, students will experience challenging real business cases and discusssolutions that combine sophisticated theory with hands-on practical experience in industry.
• The cases will follow the logic and lines of a global supply chain: starting with supplier evaluation, to usage of multi-modal transport, set-up of SCM function in a company from scratch down to customer delivery, customersegmentation, and ending with the challenges of e-commerce and last-mile delivery.

• As LI5203 is offered in Special Term (Part I), students who wish to enrol in LI5203 will be required to register and pay tuition fees for the Special Term. The tuition fees for AY2019/2020 are given below.
Note:Students who enrol in LI5203 in AY2019/2020 Special Term (Part I) should note that the earliest that they can count this module for graduation is 31 August 2020.
