I am please with the LG TV. It has lived up to the reviews that I look at. I research many TV's before I made this purchase. I hope it continue to perform well in the long run. Only time will tell.

The words "this tv is too good" have been uttered many times at my house when people first see this TV. The picture is amazing. As soon as I plugged it in we sat down and watched the first channel that was on just staring and the depth and how brilliant the picture was.

1) Web Browser of Smart Tv crashes very frequently and the power has to be replugged to get it working again

2) Slow... smart tv console takes almost 30 secs to open after switching on the tv

And then Hdmi..took me awhile to figure that out... 55" LCD is incredible.. And huge. Colors and picture is just amazing! Even got the Optic audio out to work with my Big sound Denon.. Otherwise you will need a converter for optical to RCA

Picture is exceptional and we have enjoyed the streaming with Netflex as well as being able to get to BBC. I did purchase the Querty remote for which I can't seem to find adequate instructions. It does not look as if it will work with Netflex. I have not hooked the TV to an HD source but am using the digital provided by Comcast.

Overall I'm pleased with my purchase. The picture looks terrific. However, when the screen is supposed to be all black we typically see backlight shining through -- usually in the upper left area. Under normal movie viewing, you don't notice it -- but presumably videos would look better with blacker black.

The Tv is a great tv, but it came with thin horizontal lines on top left corner of the led panel... I'm very dissapointed at this. I've been doing some research and it seem s that Samsung led's have this problem all the time.

I haven't used LG TV from the Goldstar era of the 80's... but boy~ have thing ever changed since then! From the unboxing, the installation was simple enough and light enough to carry myself to mount it.

For openers, the Samsung 46" Model 6300 is a terrific television. The LED LCD technology presents a picture that is the equal of a plasma TV. Did a lot of comparing before buying and the Samsung is the best of the lot right now. However, there are two issues; namely, the need to get both an adapter and a qwerty remote control above the cost of the TV.
