Remove Shift knob by turning f. counter-clockwise.
Push Shift Release with g. taped screwdriver and shift to Neutral.
Pull on the Left side Stick h. Shift Cover, then pull the Center Cover up and pull on the Right side Stick Shift Cover.
Shift Center Console to the i. left and place protective blankets.Remove the Center Console j. Side Trim.

Remove Airbag carefully l. then wrap it and stack on any object to lift it high enough to prevent ten-sion on the Airbag wire.

Remove 3 Screws at the m. bottom of the Glovebox.Open Glovebox and n. remove 2 Screws.
Remove the Glovebox by o. pulling it towards the left side.

Connect the V2 Harness to c. the GBS ECU. Route the V2 Harness behind d. the Passenger’s Reinforce.
Plug the V2 Harness to the e. Vehicle’s Pre-Connector in the location shown.

CAUTION:Do not touch the Adhesive Surface.Attach the GBS Microphone on the Glovebox d. Under Cover as shown.• Make sure to align the GBS Mic to the edge of the
Glovebox Hole.
Use 1 Foam Tape to secure the GBS e. Microphone.
CAUTION: Do not cover the Microphone Opening with the Foam Tape.
Plug the 2P Connectors.f.

Tighten the Nut to 36 in•lbf • (4.07 N•m)
CAUTION: Do not touch the Positive Terminal.
Use Household Glass b. Cleaner to clean the inside of the Front Door Windows.Use a piece of Clear Tape c. to lift the Label from its protective backing.
CAUTION:Do not touch the adhesive surface.
Attach the Label as shown.d.
NOTE: Make sure to Align according to Etching or Other Label.
REPEAT: steps b–d with the other Window.
Verify that the Short Pin is e. Installed.
If not Install now.•

Reassemble the Vehicle.f.
NOTE: When reinstalling Knee Airbag, make sure to tighten the Bolts to 88.5 in•lbf (10 N•m).
VERIFY: That panels fit together properly, with no uneven gaps.
VERIFY:That all Connectors are plugged in.
Clean up and Remove trash.g. Sealed in its protective bag, h. place the Owner’s Manual in the Glovebox.Reset the power windows.i.
Turn the ignition “ON.”•
Lower the Windows halfway.•
Pull up on the Power Window • Switches until the windows close.
Continue to hold up on the • switches for a minimum of 1 Second.
Reset the Moon Roof.j. Open the Moon Roof halfway.•
Push and hold the Moon Roof • Switch to close until the Moon Roof closes.
Continue to hold the switch for a • minimum of 1 Second.
Reset the tailgate door.k. Push door lock control switch to • the “unlock” side.
Pull up tailgate door handle. •

Roll up all windows, and exit the vehicle with remote.
TakeouttheSmartKeyandtheSmartCardKeyfromtheVehicle.Placethem7ft.(2meters)ormoreawayfromtheVehicle.
1 Press and release the remote control lock button to start the system’s arming process.
The turn signal lights flash once
All doors lock.
The Security LED lights up.
2 Wait 30 seconds. Security LED starts flashing; the system is now armed.
Perform the following check in a temperature controlled environment (50°-90° F)
3 With the tip of a key, or Striker Tool pulled all the way out (PPO only), tap the center of the driver’s door window to trigger the alarm.
The horn sounds repeatedly.
The headlights flash repeatedly.
The turn signal lights flash repeatedly.
The security LED lights up.
4 Insert the key into the driver’s door key cylinder and turn it toward the back of the vehicle to stop the alarm.
The horn stops sounding.
All the lights stop flashing and/ or turn off.
The Security LED turns off.
NOTE: If the alarm does not trigger during functional verifications the Smart Key and Smart Card Key might be too close.Move them farther from the vehicle and test the system again.
NOTE: If the alarm does not trigger during functional verifications, increase the GBS sensitivity to the next setting and test again.
NOTE: If you do not disarm the system, the alarm will last 20 seconds. It is not necessary to check the alarm duration.
