the herd or from the f"o&k'

3 #f the offering is a %urnt offering from the herd, ou sha"" offer a ma"ewithout %"emish ou sha"" %ring it to the entran&e of the tent of meeting, for

a&&eptan&e in our %eha"f %efore the LORD' 4 ou sha"" "a our hand on thehead of the %urnt offering, and it sha"" %e a&&epta%"e in our %eha"f as

atonement for ou' 5 The %u"" sha"" %e s"aughtered %efore the LORD and

*aron+s sons the priests sha"" offer the %"ood, dashing the %"ood against a""sides of the a"tar that is at the entran&e of the tent of meeting' 6 The %urnt

offering sha"" %e f"aed and &ut up into its parts' 7 The sons of the priest*aron sha"" put fire on the a"tar and arrange wood on the fire' 8 *aron+s sons

the priests sha"" arrange the parts, with the head and the suet, on the wood

that is on the fire on the a"tar 9 %ut its entrai"s and its "egs sha"" %e washedwith water' Then the priest sha"" turn the who"e into smoke on the a"tar as a

the north side of the a"tar %efore the LORD, and *aron+s sons the priests sha""dash its %"ood against a"" sides of the a"tar' 12 #t sha"" %e &ut up into its parts,

with its head and its suet, and the priest sha"" arrange them on the wood

that is on the fire on the a"tar 13 %ut the entrai"s and the "egs sha"" %ewashed with water' Then the priest sha"" offer the who"e and turn it into

22 $hen a ru"er sins, doing unintentiona"" an one of a"" the things that %&ommandments of the LORDhis .od ought not to %e done and in&urs

gui"t, 23 on&e the sin that he has &ommitted is made known to him, he sha""%ring as his offering a ma"e goat without %"emish' 24 e sha"" "a his hand on

5 $hen an of ou sin in that ou have heard a pu%"i& ad1uration to testifand/though a%"e to testif as one who has seen or "earned of the matter/

do not speak up, ou are su%1e&t to punishment' 2 Or when an of ou tou&han un&"ean thing/whether the &ar&ass of an un&"ean %east or the &ar&ass

of un&"ean "ivesto&k or the &ar&ass of an un&"ean swarming thing/and areunaware of it, ou have %e&ome un&"ean, and are gui"t'3 Or when ou tou&h

human un&"eanness/an un&"eanness % whi&h one &an %e&ome un&"ean/

and are unaware of it, when ou &ome to know it, ou sha"" %e gui"t' 4 Orwhen an of ou utter a"oud a rash oath for a %ad or a good purpose,

one for a sin offering and the other for a %urnt offering' 8 ou sha"" %ringthem to the priest, who sha"" offer first the one for the sin offering, wringing

sha"" s&oop up a handfu" of it as its memoria" portion, and turn this intosmoke on the a"tar, with the offerings % fire to theLORD it is a sin

offering' 13 Thus the priest sha"" make atonement on our %eha"f forwhi&hever of these sins ou have &ommitted, and ou sha"" %e forgiven' Like
