Transitioning into civilian careers.
Military leadership experience can set you apart in the civilian
workforce. We recognize the value of military leadership skills
and can help veterans elevate their post-military careers to the
next level. The Leveraging Military Leadership Program is a
four-month program offered by worldclass leadership
development experts for veterans transitioning into civilian
careers.
• Selected applicants will receive transitional training from
Exelis and Korn Ferry global leadership development
consultants.
• This unique program includes three interactive days onsite,
followed by offsite, online, and integrated learning
components as well as individual coaching.
Program eligibility:
• Veterans and service members of any rank who left service in
the last two years or will transition in the next six months.
• Participants should be committed to fully engaging in the
program, with the goal of honing leadership skills for possible
leadership opportunities in the civilian sector.
Application process:
Applications due: January 5, 2015.
Acceptance notification: January 15, 2015.
Program dates: The initial onsite kick-off is three-days,
March 13-15, 2015. The program spans four months and
includes coaching and online, interactive learning activities.
Location: Herndon, Virginia, near Washington, D.C.
Fee: No cost for program participation. Participants are
responsible for travel and discounted lodging fees only.
