To better budget my time, I have created this schedule to help me understand the best times for me to get work done, work on drawings, time with family and friends, etc.

My outline for my schedule looked like this when I began.

The first things I placed on my schedule, was our church services on Sunday and Wednesday. These are the most important events in my life, so I always make time for it!

My next step is to add in the time for my weekly Go To Training Sessions on Tuesday.

I've scheduled in time to work on my drawings, but that's also part of my relaxing time, because I achieve my “flow” whenever I'm drawing.

Each morning during the week, I check Facebook, log into Full Sail to check the week's assignments (on Monday), have breakfast as I watch the Today Show and start school.

I also have a set time for lunch each day from 12:30 to 1:30. After lunch I finish school from 1:30 to 4:30 or 5:00 - 5:30 depending on the day.

I've also set aside some time for when my family and I enjoy watching our favorite shows. I also use this time on Tuesdays and Thursday to relax a little after Taekwondo class.

With everything I have going on in my life, I need a little time to spend with friends.

My Saturdays are usually the time to wind down from the business of the week. I don't have much scheduled for this day except class and a few chores in the morning, but it can be changed if needed. With the free time I have in the evening, I can use that for any extra school work I might have. I will also use this time to get my homework done for Sunday morning Bible Class.

I now have a schedule that shows me all of the activities I have to complete during the week. It helps me to see how much time I have to complete them and how much is leftover for other things. I believe this will be a great way to help budget my time better than I have in the past.

In my scheduling of daily events, I have short periods of time to relax a little before going back to continue my work. This is my time for play. I use these short periods of time to draw sketches of different things, play a game or something and then I'm ready to start back to work.

The best part of it is I can enjoy these little breaks of play and it doesn't interfere with getting my assignments and discussions completed on time!
