Level 3 Pearson BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering (Mechatronics) Programme Description This programme emphasizes on providing the trainees with broad information and practical activities on electrical, electronics, control, mechanical, and computer technology system and processes applicable to the field of mechatronics. Programme Objectives
Improve the employability competence of the trainees
Enable the trainees to apply integrated skills in projects, workshop activities, and out-of-class training
Provide skills in communication and team work to allow trainees to become productive members of any work environment
Duration: 2 years (four semesters) of full time study Awarding Body: Pearson/Edexcel
Assessment In-course and end-of-term assessment are conducted in each unit in a form of assignment, project, written or practical examinations. On-the-Job Training The OJT programme is a requirement that trainees need to complete. It intends to expose them to the practices of the industry. Qualification Certificates Upon the completion of the requirements of the programme, a trainee shall receive certificates from Pearson and Bahrain Training Institute.
