Dear Sir,

Sorry for not informing you in advance but from the past 2 weeks (that is why was absentlast week also for 2 days), I was suffering from low-moderate grade fever, mild -

moderate body ache, general lethargy, cough with without e!pectoration on and off and

I had been assigning it to e!cessive stress that I myself take as in sitting late, no propersleep, smoking, improper food habits, etc" I remember you telling me #$sh, %oday you

do not seem to have your normal energy enthusiasm of working#"

%his Sunday after finishing my %hread ceremony in &umbai, I realised that I was not in a

physical condition to come back to work as was feeling completely drained with

absolutely no energy to come back to 'une or work" I must have slept entire &onday in

this state as if in a drowsy state" n %uesday I had a blood test done (due to previouse!perience) which revealed a sub clinical type of infection with *+ count raised to

2". (/.) and $bsolute lymphocyte count 0"1. (/0.) with all other tests 3" I

have attached the reports for your perusal"

I had done this blood tests as previously when I had felt similarly in year 2444 I was

diagnosed of a rare viral disease Infectious &ononucleosis (Doctors are alwayssusceptible to various rare kind of infections as to the common ones they are immune

too) which cures on its own and is harmless but decreases the immunity of the body at the

time of infection and at time of recovery" I was in doubt that it was a relapse but it wasnot the case"

%he above blood test results point out that I have some infection and the physical bodily

state point towards what we clinically term as I&&5-+&'6&IS7D S%$%7where the concerned person is most susceptible to dreadful conditions like %uberculosis,

etc with the infection and raised lymphocyte count" hat was needed was a good rest andgood home food to bring back the immunity to normal" I was e!pecting a 8uick recoveryso that could have at least 9oined office by ednesday, but could not as felt that the

infection was not cured completely from the symptoms and slow response to drugs

started on %uesday evening after the results came in"

I am on oral treatment and I would take more days rest till %hursday and resume office

on :riday morning" I am e!tremely sorry for the inconvenience that must have been

caused by my absence without proper information regarding the same as I thought Ishould have been back in office by ednesday morning after the entire drowsy day on

&onday and blood test on %uesday" I am writing this to you as I know you would not be

happy at my behavior which in this case appears to be irresponsible though the reasonwas valid"

I promise that I shall end all my pending work when I re9oin on :riday as soon aspossible and avoid future such incidents with some discipline in my work strategy as

avoiding burning out, proper good food at proper times, good rest, etc as discussed with

my wife (fianc;e) as even she was not comfortable with me falling ill this way before

marriage due to my abnormal lifestyle"
