Letter from President
I can’t believe that April is right around the corner and we will be hosting this year’s EWI Spring Conference. I can remember when we put our bid in to host and made the announcement at LCAM this past September in Washington D.C. Since then countless hours have been put in by all of our Spring Conference committee members in the planning process. Now we are in the home stretch!
We had great attendance for our March Business meeting held at Mo’s Irish Pub. Hopefully you were able to digest everything presented and discussed. There were Chapter Business updates, our Chapter’s Strategic Plan and Spring Conference information. If you weren’t able to attend the meeting, make sure you review the materials that I sent out via email prior to the Business meeting – that will bring you up to date on Chapter Business. If you have any questions regarding anything, please don’t hesitate to contact me. With Spring Conference coming up soon, your Core Spring Conference committee will be sending out weekly updates to keep you informed on spring conference. I hope you find the weekly update helpful. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on April 23 at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center. It is the Opening Gala and Celebration of our 50th Anniversary and the kick-off to Spring Conference. I encourage everyone to attend Spring Conference. We have created an al a carte registration just for you to give you every opportunity to gain and learn leadership skills by attending all or part of the conference.

EWISP GOODY BAGS FOR EWI SCHOLARSHIP NIGHT The EWI Scholarship Committee is collecting items for the “goody bags” that will be presented to our student finalists at the EWI-Milwaukee Chapter Scholarship Award Dinner on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. In past years, we have received quite a variety of logo items from our member firms to be included in these goody bags, including the bags themselves. We would like to encourage each of our member firms to donate at least 3 items as we will have 3 EWISP student finalists. If someone is able to provide us with actual bags, please let Julie or Lori know as soon as possible. Your goody bag donations may be given to any of our scholarship committee members at the March or April meetings. Thank you, 2014-2015 Scholarship Committee
