Dear family,Now that the election is over,

there are a few final thoughts I wouldlike to share.

Without question, manyAmericans simply disliked “the per-son” Donald Trump so much, theywould have voted for a cedar post,rather than him. He had such anoffensive public persona people sim-ply could not relate!!! His accom-plishments as President were enor-mous, but his mouth was his tragicflaw. In politics perception is every-thing— good or bad—and mostvoters are driven by emotions, notreason. Consequently, it is conceiv-able that over the past four years,this voting bloc increased, handingJoe Biden a handsome victory.

There is another political coa-lition some folks call the “dark side”of American politics— CorporateAmerica, Wall Street, Big Media(owned by Corporate America) andBig Tech. This coalition is America’sversion of “oligarchs”- the mega-rich, driven strictly by ego, moneyand raw political power--frighten-ing power!!! Aristotle (384 BC—322BC) pioneered the use of theterm “oligarkhes” to mean “therule of a few”. He believed this groupwas “dark”, because they rule bypublic obedience, oppression andsometimes suppression. Sound fa-

Election Epilogue miliar?? The oligarchs have thesame “business partner” as JoeBiden— communist China. Theyhad a lot of money at stake andDonald Trump was in their way.

We will never know for sure,but coupled with the virus, resultingin a poor economy, and massivesocial unrest, it is possible these twovoting groups gave Joe Biden theedge he needed to legitimately winthe presidency. End of story.

On the other hand, it was trou-bling how a candidate obviously suf-fering from mild cognitive impair-ment— who hardly cam-paigned!!!— received more votesthan any other president in Ameri-can history. And it was shocking tothose who stayed up on November3rd, after midnight, and watchedthe early morning tallies shift so dra-matically from President Trump toJoe Biden. It begs the question —what happened???

Surely, a fair-minded personwould have to admit, somethinglooked mighty suspicious. It is nowonder almost half the country con-tinues to believe there was substan-tial election fraud. Even now, post-election irregularities are being un-covered!!! One highly regarded in-dependent company, Data IntegrityGroup, recently estimated that inPennsylvania alone, 432,000 voteswere removed from PresidentTrump.

The election results, especiallyin Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wiscon-sin and Georgia should disturb ev-

ery American. There were clear-cutviolations of the U.S. Constitution.The Supreme Court did nothing!!!Nothing!!! It is my understand-ing the cases were never evenheard by the nine justices!!! Con-stitutional experts have expressedserious concern about such malfea-sance. If America cannot rely on ourjudicial system, if judges have be-come so incompetent or corrupt,then it appears America has reachedthe time when our Constitution ishanging by a thread.

In spite of President Trump’stragic flaw(s), I wish more Ameri-cans could understand he is notAmerica’s enemy. Socialism—thesure road to totalitarianism— isthe enemy. Never before has ananti-American ideology advancedin America, to the point where itnow has the potential to controlour destiny. The socialist mindsetdominates American education,entertainment, corporate America,our judiciary, government, the me-dia, congress, public discourse andeven elements in our military. It isheartrending that half the nationhas been so indoctrinated not to

see or understand such an obvi-ous and dangerous reality.Thoughtful, sensitive Americansmust feel in their hearts that some-thing — besides Donald Trump—is terribly wrong.

Oskar Schindler, the Germanindustrialist and member of the Naziparty, who saved the lives of 1200Jews during the Holocaust, oncestated, “I am the conscience of allthose who knew something— butdid nothing”. It may be hard forsome people to swallow, but I be-

lieve President Trump has beenAmerica’s conscience for the pastfour years. I would encourage ev-eryone to read his 2020 July 4thspeech given at Mount Rushmore,and look at his results as President,before passing final judgment. Re-gardless of his human frailties,President Trump has always un-derstood our beloved country isthreatened at its very core, and ourunique Republic is losing its iden-tity as a free nation. That is whyhe ran for president, and that iswhy he fought so hard, with allhis heart.

Finally, I reserve judgment on

the Washington tragedy until moredetails are disclosed. There is evi-dence surfacing from the FBI thatsuggests this violent incident mayhave been a “staged”, last ditch ef-fort to end “Trumpism” forever.America will probably never knowthe real truth. It will be buried, likeeverything else over the past fouryears. And, before we get too ex-cited or judgmental about the so-called desecration of the Capitol, re-member this symbolic, “sacred”building has been desecrated for along, long time by white-collar thugsand anti-Americans who are hell-benton destroying our free country. Un-fortunately, the Grand Old Party re-mains defenseless with a handful ofdimwitted, emasculated Republi-cans!!! If the truth were known,very few within the Capitol can callthe kettle black.

The 2020 election has ended,but the history of the American Ex-periment— the eternal struggle forour God-given freedom has notended. It has just been postponed.Donald Trump and at least 74 mil-lion freedom- loving Americansagree. This is not a small group ofkooky conservatives. These peoplehave the correct and inspiring visionof the American dream—and theyhave courage!!!! Quite frankly,our country badly needs a newpolitical party, not owned by so-cialists and oligarchs. I earnestlypray that Donald Trump and hispatriotic followers will continuethe fight. When the 2022 elec-tion comes, more and moreAmericans will be ready to“Make America Great Again”.

arthritic area will help decrease theinflammation as well. When thosemethods are no longer effective,there are certain injections whichmay offer long lasting relief of ar-thritic spine pain.

One option for decreasinginflammation in the spine is an in-tra-articular facet injection, whichis a relatively simple injection of asmall amount of corticosteroid di-rectly into the joint using a live x-ray. “This country holds yourfather’s body. Never sell the bonesof your father and mother.” So spokeChief of the Nez Perce people, Jo-seph, to his son who would inherithis father’s name and position withhis people. But in 1877 he was askedto do just that.

Within a single lifetime, theNez Perce tribe, who had welcomedthe Lewis and Clark explorationparty to their homeland and had sub-sequently been granted this territoryas their reservation by the UnitedStates, had found themselves pres-sured by white settlers to move fromthis same reservation, whichstraddled the Oregon and Washing-ton Territorial lines, to a new areaalong the Clearwater River in IdahoTerritory. The United States gov-ernment agreed to pay the tribe fortheir land, but the Nez Perce resistedbecause it meant surrendering theirhomeland and their culture for landless favorable, smaller and far fromtheir historical settlements.

“They wanted to live as freeand unrestricted as their fathers had.”Wrote one Government official.“They aspire to be Indians and noth-ing else.” Brigadier General OliverHoward warned them that theywould be attacked if they didn’t ac-cept the offer of resettlement, andthat attack could be expected withina month if they did not comply.

The tribe, reluctantly, agreedto go. But before they could leavesome young braves of the tribe at-tacked four whites who had been

harassing them. Chief Joseph com-mented that it was difficult to pre-vent such actions against intruderswho taunted them, but fearing re-

prisals Joseph and 700 Nez Percefrom several bands fled south andcamped at White Bird Canyon onthe Salmon River. But the U.S. armyfollowed them charging recklesslyinto the canyon. But the Nez Percewarriors were waiting and killed 34soldiers without losing a single man.

The Native Americans flednorthward and fought another battlealong the Clearwater River. Gen-eral Howard praised Joseph’s skillsin numerous fights along the way,and the newspapers of the east called

him “Red Napoleon.” The namewas misplaced since Joseph was try-ing his best to avoid conflict and savehis nation. Still, his warriors rebuffed

a surprise attack by U.S. sol-diers on the Salmon River, kill-ing 34 soldiers without losinga single man.

Joseph’s skill as a leaderwas no match for the arma-ment and training of the U.S.Cavalry, however, and they

tracked and attacked the Nez Perceat their camp in Montana’s Big HoleValley killing 70 Indians, but payingfor it dearly.

The Nez Perce were beingworn down in numbers and instrength. Joseph decided to attemptto migrate to Canada as Sitting Bullhad done after Custer’s last stand,but he was headed off by Americantroops just 30 miles from theboarder. Here he finally surrenderedon October 5, 1877 with the prom-ise of returning to his reservation.He uttered the famous words: “I amtired of fighting. Our chiefs are killed,it is cold, and we have no blankets.The little children are freezing todeath, my people have run away,from where the sun now stands, Iwill fight no more.”

The promise of returning tohis homeland wasn’t to be. Whatwas left of the Nez Perce band wasdriven to Kansas and the Indian ter-ritories, and basically dispersed.

We went behindthe village tavern where youleaned against the back fenceand I made love to you.” Yes,she says, “I remember itwell.” “OK,” he says, “Howabout taking a stroll aroundthere again and we can do itfor old time’s sake?” “OhJim, you old devil, thatsounds like a crazy, but goodidea!” A police officer sittingin the next booth heard theirconversation and, having achuckle to himself, he thinksto himself, I’ve got to seethese two old-timers havingsex against a fence. I’ll justkeep an eye on them sothere’s no trouble. So he fol-lows them. The elderly couplewalks haltingly along, leaningon each other for supportaided by walking sticks. Fi-nally, they get to the back ofthe tavern and make theirway to the fence. The oldlady lifts her skirt and the oldman drops his trousers. Asshe leans against the fence,the old man moves in. Thensuddenly they erupt into themost furious sex that the po-liceman has ever seen. Thisgoes on for about ten min-utes while both are makingloud noises and moaning andscreaming. Finally, they bothcollapse, panting on theground. The policeman isamazed. He thinks he haslearned something about lifeand old age that he didn’t

know. After about half anhour of lying on the groundrecovering, the old couplestruggle to their feet and puttheir clothes back on. The po-liceman is still watching andthinks to himself, this is trulyamazing; I’ve got to ask themwhat their secret is. So, as thecouple passes, he says tothem, “Excuse me, but thatwas something else. Youmust’ve had a fantastic sexlife together. Is there somesort of secret to this?” Shak-ing, the old man is barely ableto reply, “Fifty years ago thatwasn’t an electric fence!”

For Better Or WorseAfter being married for

40 years, I took a careful lookat my wife one day and said,“Forty years ago we had acheap house, a junk car, slepton a sofa bed and watched a10-inch black and white TV,but I got to sleep every nightwith a hot 23-year-old girl.Now I have a $500,000home, a $35,000 car, a nicebig bed and a large screen TV,but I’m sleeping with a 63-year-old woman. It seems tome that you’re not holding upyour side of things.” My wifeis a very reasonable woman.She told me to go out andfind a hot 23-year-old girland she would make surethat I would once again beliving in a cheap house,driving a junk car, sleepingon a sofa bed and watchinga 10-inch black and whiteTV. Aren’t older womengreat? They really knowhow to solve an old guy’sproblems.

“Do you know the muffinman?” was a traditional Englishsong sung about door to doorhawkers in old England. Muf-fins or muffens, meaning” littlecakes”, were sold as snackbread before most houses wereprovided with ovens in the latenineteenth and early twentiethcenturies. The United Statesstated to get their first taste of“toaster crumpets” when SamuelBath Thomas emigrated fromPlymouth, England to NewYork City in 1874. By the1880’s, he opened his own bak-ery and English muffins soonbecame a popular alternative totoast. As Paul Harvey wouldsay, and now you know the restof the story”.

We love English muffins.

“Do You Know TheMuffin Man?”

And, they are so fun and easyto make. They can be frozen

and used later or they can evenbeen filled with bacon, eggs andcheese for a different daytimesnack or a breakfast on the run.We usually have a dozen filledmuffins in the freezer at all timesso if we are running late or ifgrandkids pop in we have some-thing we can just toss in the mi-crowave. The thing I love aboutthis particular recipe that I havebeen developing for years is thatI use it when I want to makemuffin bread. When baked in a

loaf you can add a variety ofdifferent casserole-type ingredi-ents and have dinner in a loafreally pretty fast. I love to servemuffin bread that has been splitlengthwise and covered with sev-eral types of cheese which isthen melted in the oven. Add abowl of soup and dinner isserved.

The recipe I am giving youis for approximately 20 muffins,however, you can simply roll thedough into two long cylindershapes like French bread and bakeit accordingly. Have fun making,sharing and eating these awesomeEnglish muffins!

English Muffins1 cup water2/3 cup milk, scalded1 tablespoon sugar1 teaspoon kosher salt1 tablespoon yeast (I use

Saf Instant)4 cups + flour3 tablespoon’s butter which

has been softened, but not meltedAdd water, scalded milk,

sugar, salt, yeast and 2 cups offlour. Beat or mix until ingredi-ents are incorporated. Cover witha cloth and let rise in a warm areauntil dough collapses back into thebowl. Beat in butter. Beat orknead in remaining flour. (Ifdough is too sticky to handle, adda little more flour). Press doughto a thickness of ½ inch and cutout with muffin rings. (I used tunacans that had both ends cut fromthe can for many years before Iinvested in muffin rings.) Makesure you spray the rings with veg-etable spray and also the griddle.Place rings on griddle and pushdough into rings. Let rise ongriddle until double in bulk. Turngriddle to 350 degrees and cookuntil brown on both sides. I liketo turn the heat down once theyare browned and let them cookcompletely through which takesabout ten minutes. ENJOY!

The Religious Society ofFriends (Quakers) records pro-vide a rich look into their lives. Ifyou have ancestors who lived inthe Mid-Atlantic states from 1680through 1780, they could havebeen Quakers. If you do haveQuaker ancestors, you are lucky,as they were meticulous recordkeepers, and their records arereadily accessible.

The Quaker “meeting” re-fers to a Quaker congregation.While parishes organize bychurches, the Quakers organizeby meetings. These meetings arescheduled by local meetings,which then send representativesto a monthly meeting. Themonthly meetings then send rep-resentatives to quarterly meetingsthat cover a larger area. Yearlymeetings are at the top of themeeting hierarchy and cover allthe meetings in and around a cityor a region.

Monthly meeting minutescontain all the business conductedduring that meeting. In these min-utes, you may find “intention tomarry” notes. When a couple de-cided to marry, they would re-quest that the meeting “oversee”the wedding. These requests andconsequent records are recordedin the minutes, along with a re-port that the wedding was ac-complished.

The monthly meetings of-ten kept birth registers. The birthsare sometimes listed by date orby family groups. The births in-

clude children’s names, birthdates, residence, parents’ names,and even details about marriagesor deaths within the family group.You can also look for the parents’marriage records and go back toanother generation using their par-ents’ names included in the de-tails.

Death registers list thedeaths among the members of theQuaker meeting. These death reg-isters include the name of the de-ceased, death date, place of resi-dence, and sometimes list the par-ents’ names. Look at the meetingminutes close to the time of death,and you may find even more in-formation about the deceased.

Certificates of Removalwere issued when one person orfamily is relocating to anothermeeting location. These certifi-cates allow you to track yourfamily’s migration. Disownmentsand Apologies record disciplinaryactions, and the offending partybecomes disowned if they did notapologize.

Ancestry.com has an im-pressive collection of Quakerrecords. A keyword search of“Quaker” in Ancestry’s card cata-log resulted in a searchable listingof 76 record collections. Thesecollections included not onlyQuaker records from the U.S. butalso Great Britain. Ancestry.comalso has a “Research Guide toFinding Your Quaker Ancestors”to guide you through your re-search.

At this writing, President Bidenhas been in office for one day. Dur-ing his first day, he signed 17 Execu-tive Orders, most of which are spe-cifically designed to reverse policiesand previous Executive Orders putin place by his predecessor. For com-parison, President Trump signed oneExecutive Order on his first day inoffice and after two months, he hada total of 17. Most of the new or-ders specifically target policies andorders issued by President Trump.Biden has also frozen all recent regu-lations put together by the Trumpadministration for further review.

Whether you agree with theseactions or not, it is fair to say thatthese actions are more reactionarythan deliberative and indicate a dis-missal of the concerns of half thecountry, even while stating in his firstspeech as president that “Withoutunity, there is no peace, only bitter-ness and fury… No progress, onlyexhausting outrage.” Additionally,Democrat choices to again impeacha president who was already leavingoffice seem much more divisive thanhealing and unifying.

There will be many things towatch over the next few days andweeks and we will see if there areany unifying elements in the newadministration or if they will continueto seek to vilify, demonize and dam-age the people, supporters and ideasthat the previous administration in-cluded, many of which were verypositive and supportive of freedom,values, prosperity and strength.

In all this turmoil, what is our

responsibility as citizens and peopleof conscience?

First of all, I believe we needto speak and act according to prin-ciples of truth and freedom. We mustaccept the actions that have beentaken by our congress in certifyingthe election results. That does notmean we should ignore illegal ac-tions, fraud or malfeasance by pub-lic officials. Wherever there is evi-dence of such activity, we shouldinsist that those involved be broughtto account. We should also insist thatcongress enact safeguards to ensurethat future elections will be fair, ac-curate and conducted legally so thatwe can trust their outcomes.

We need to be aware of whatthe new president and congress doand voice our opinions clearly so ourrepresentatives know what we standfor and what we will not stand for.There is another election in a yearand a half and we should make clearthat we will support those who standfor constitutional law, values and in-dividual freedoms. Those who donot clearly stand for those thingsneed to be voted out at the next op-portunity.

We must not become hope-less or angry until and unless ourability to address grievances throughvoting or petitioning government aretaken away. I do not believe we areat that point. People on both sides

of the aisle have suffered through ad-ministrations that they did not agreewith and we still stand as a nation.While we have lost some freedomsand rights, and others are in jeopardy,I believe we can stem the tide if westand up for the principles we believein and the legislators that support thoseprinciples.

Finally, we need to determineindividually and as a nation what ourpriorities are – then act accordingly inour words, writing and public activi-ties. I will continue to speak, writeand protest (when needed) to indi-cate and demand support for my free-doms and priorities as an individual.In my case, those priorities are God,Family, Principles of Freedom, andCountry – in that order. I refuse tocompromise my relationship withGod, my responsibilities to my fam-ily and my support for Principles ofFreedom. As long as those require-ments are met, I will stand for mycountry and its independence fromenemies foreign and domestic as theConstitution requires. I invite all toexamine their priorities in a similarway to determine what comes next.
