I am a seasoned retail professional that at some point in my career has touched all aspects of retail and product life cycles. I started early on in high school working in a warehouse where I picked orders and loaded trucks. I spent over 13 years at Walmart where I started as a hourly worker in stores stocking grocery shelves and ended as a buyer in Men’s apparel. I spent one year as a buyer for Dick’s Sporting Goods in Pittsburgh, PA before moving back to Bentonville, AR to pursue my current role as an independent advisor to companies looking to grow their business with their retail partners.

Throughout my career I have held a variety of positions that dealt with a vast array of products. I have experience in growing highly seasonal product categories as well as basic modular driven products. I have been responsible for developing highly successful private label businesses as well as working with national brands on product strategies.

My business approach is a two pronged approach that is intertwined with each other. One is to simply drive profitable sales by taking a holistic approach to products from how they are sourced, priced, promoted, and presented to all levels of customers. The second piece of my approach is developing relationships with those I work with by fostering an environment of collaboration, accountability, and encouragement. I believe in managing short term tactics for immediate results while also developing longer term strategies for future and more prolonged success.
