HYPOTHESIS!

I think we are going to try to shoot the airplane with a Rubber band because when it talked about to see how

Far it goes and make me think that we are going to shoot it far.

MATERIALS.

Paper 8 1/2 by 11 inc Sheet of paper 22 cm by 5 cm

Stapler Rubberband

Pencil or chopstick

Paper airplane The force used to trow the airplane

The distance the plane will fly

PROCEDURE1.fold your airplane using the template

2.fold smaller piece of aper in half vertically then fold that piece on half and fold it again horizontally. This will be the hook for your airplane. 3.staple the hook to the bottom of the paper airplane about 1/4 of the

way from the front. 4.loop the rudder band around the pencil or chopstick as illustrated in the diagram below.5.Take the free end of the rudder band and loop it around the hook on the bottom of the paper airplane.6. Now it is time to put the

paper airplane to the test and launch it. 7. Pull the paper airplane back and release. 8.record the distance the air plane traveled.

9.repeat steps 1-7 pulling the rubber band back farther,and then a little less than the first time. Also,repeat after Taping a straw to your paper airplane.
