You’re in for 2.5 days of educational programming and shooting, full access to the Click Away Hub’s social lounge, marketplace, meet-the-speaker, and interactive photography and processing stations, an invite to the VOICE Gallery Night cocktail reception, and even transportation to the Click Away Outdoor Summer Concert sponsored by Canon at Red Butte Gardens on the final evening of Click Away.

By now, you’ve created your personalized schedule full of sessions with photographers you admire across a variety of topics that will provide you with a rich learning experience. We hope your schedule has a variety of program types included. KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Elizabeth GilbertIn a keynote address open to all Click Away attendees, Elizabeth Gilbert – best known for her international best seller Eat, Pray, Love, and fresh off the release of her latest novel The Signature of All Things — will entertain and inspire you with her own heartwarming and insightful take on the subject of creativity. Elizabeth will also be appearing at a special book signing session at Click Away. Everyone who purchases a book will also receive an invitation tomeet Elizabeth and get their copy signed.

Elizabeth’s keynote session will kick-off Click Away programming on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 8:30 am - 10:00 am in the ballroom of the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Joy ProutyIn her “Dream Big” keynote address, Joy Prouty will encourage you to dream big as she gives a raw and honest look into her unique adventure in seeking balance with motherhood, marriage, creativity, photography, self-discovery and her continual journey towards the simple life. As a mother of four and a highly sought-after portrait and wedding photographer, she will discuss how she maintains peace in the home and still finds time to nurture her soul, all while staying fresh in the saturated photography industry.

Click Away would not be complete without the events we have planned for you. Join us and your fellow attendees at these fun events to make new friends, network, or have a drink with a photographer you’ve only dreamt of meeting in person.

Thursday evening is the VOICE Gallery Cocktail Reception where attendees can enjoy a glass of wine and view an awe-inspiring collection of photographs that were selected by a panel of judges for inclusion in the VOICE Collection.

Saturday evening is the wrap-up event — Click Away Outdoor Summer Concert sponsored by Canon - a magical night of live music and good times in the gorgeous Red Butte Garden!

Saturday afternoon there are several off-site shooting outings. The Saturday Shooting Outings available to everyone (for a small fee) and includes chartered bus transportation to the location you have selected. The locations include: Park City, Saltair, Historic 25th Street in Ogden, Silver Lake, and Wheeler Historic Farm.

TransportationTRAX light rail provides quick and inexpensive transfers from the airport directly to the Convention District. Current fares are $2.50 each way and the ride time is approximately 20 minutes – airport to downtown.
