Length• Length measures how long, tall, and wide an object is.
• Objects that have approximate length, height, or width use these types of units:
Centimeter – insect, macaroniInch – crayon, fingersFoot – people, buildings, treesYard – carpet, fabric
• We use rulers, tape measurers, and yard sticks to measure objects’ length.
Weight• Weight measures how heavy or light an object is.
